- We give it a good shot to get up the mountain for sunrise but with the difficult conditions we couldn’t make it happen unfortunately.
Also Dads turbo started having issues today. Full speed rentals was able to have a quick look at it and diagnose a bad fuel pump!

I’d say the biggest thing is he rides often enough that he knows when he’s about to get stuck and how to get the sled to start getting help from gravity

Highly recommend giant loop gas bags for fuel. 3 gal fits perfectly on large Polaris bag.
After the morning muskoka vid, now it’s time to go out riding!
That backfiring at sustained full throttle reminds me of an issue we had back on an N/A gen4 a few years ago where the little in-line plastic fuel pressure regulator disc wasn’t holding the rail pressure up, and the fuel pump wouldn’t flow full fuel either.
So awesome to finally have some decent snow in Ontario now so good ice and we’re set for the season

got so caught up in the 6" of snow that finally fell on Saturday that I forgot to watch Matt's video. Travel safe Jason, you always contribute to great content and have a good channel going for yourself. The trail conditions going up were kinda funny, thats the kinda trail that people want around the Midwest. Flat and smooth as can be. Keep it up Matt.

Definitely not a fan of trail riding with mountain sleds but we like only a few hours from Cooke City and Top of The World so we are up and gone by 5:30 usually. Makes for a great day when you can ride in and out with the Sun barely up! Never a bad day on the mountain!

I wonder what's up with the turbo. Haven't worked on any yet.
On a side note, I had the computer replaced under warranty and the new one was on break in mode. It took almost 2 weeks for the dealer to get approval to take it out of break in mode.
I have a brp scanner and could have done it myself but it's still under warranty so I decided I better have them do it.
At the end of the video they said it was the fuel pump. G5's having a hard time this year

What happen with the Jerry's Sled ? Is it really the turbo or is it the (another) fuel Pump ? Looks BRP have many problem with fuel pump if it's the case. Saw many of them since 2-3 years !

Aweosme riding! How many km of trail riding you do until you reach the properly riding zone?
Maybe a Stupid Question, But why do the Newer Sleds overheat so much on the Trails, are the Coolers not as good or in different locations , use to have Sleds with Highly Moded motors, That would run 150 miles of Sketchy condition Trails and never (well almost never) get Hot enough to worry about even scratchers, let alone getting off the trail and getting in deep stuff to cool down . Just Asking?

You need to add in the ski saddle braces - keeps the saddle from ovaling and spitting out the rubbers - big difference ..you can buy them for $100 or make your own ….

You seem to quiet up about the mouse trap, what sled was that, what caused it, what happens if you were not around, is this another near miss, might want to elaborate on what happened and why it happened, how to prevent.. as we k ow this had caused more than a few fatalities and how to prevent that.. suck limiter up to a better coil over skid ..

that turbo not working. Had the same thing with mine. shut it off turned back on and started to work again. what "I" think is happening that when the turbos is ran for a long pull and than shut off it doesn't have enough time to cool it off. been a few times i hear what i think is the coolant boiling while its not running. im started to let it sit and run while i stop. or if we stop turn it on after a little to let the coolant move around.
My turbo 4 stroke is nasty but it does overheat on hard groped trails
if not going super fast, i'll tend to use my heels, throw em down around the pow, helps toss bit more under. just obv be careful you don't snap yo ankles lol

Don't those sleds come with scratchers? For 23-24k, you shouldn't have to use a stick.
They do, when the trail is ice scratchers don’t do enough
