I dont know why, but Levi's teeth/fangs stuck out when his head got bashed in and he was angry. This never happened through out the rest of the animatic they seemed to only stay small except when he was angry. I dont know, this part just really caught my attention
I dont really know how this works of course But i think that it could be because Levi is a snake I think, and snakes usually bite when they feel threatened. Levi might have had the instincts to bite Momman for hurting him. But that's just a theory
I love how the color in their eyes gets more intense when their "sin" comes in to play. Like how at 1:50 Lucer's eyes flash purple after Levi's head gets slammed in to the wall, meaning that she wants to check on Levi and make sure that he's ok but her pride is getting in the way. These subtle details add so much to the characters.

Alright gonna throw my hat into the ring, my interpretation of this is that it starts with Momman finding vodka in Phelgor’s possession and, him taking up father figure or older brother figure, flips because they arelike 12. Levi wanting to protect Phelgor ,because they is baby and just plain caring about them, saids that it was his or that it’s ok for them to have which pisses Momman off cause Phelgor is 12 and Levi is 20, both still underage to drink (U.S standard) and he shouldn’t be defending Phelgor’s actions, so he does the reasonable thing of go ape and bashing Levi’s skull into the wall, which he regrets and ends up giving him the L necklace after Modeus breaks Levi’s heart. Levi is constantly being belittled by the other sins because he is the newest and he pretends it’s ok and that he is fine. Lucer sees through his mask and asks him to open up to her, after Modeus rejects Levi, which he tries to play off but Lucer knowing that’s a lie starts crying because she cares about him a lot. Levi starts sobbing and actually opens up to her and tells her hows he is feeling. Modeus rejects Levi cause he doesn’t like him, and doesn’t believe in love, as seen in his animatic. When I’m gone is about him wanting to leave after the whole vodka head smash incident ,cause oh yeah I bashed my crushes skull into a wall, but he ends up staying and presumably being forgiven for it at the end of Cups. This is my interpretation and my theory based on what we have seen and what I have read on their tumblr so don’t take this as fact. Edit: just remember that when I took the sins quiz it said that Lucer was really insecure, so she also probably felt really bad about someone she cared about being in this state and like she failed him. Edit 2: also Levi erasing the goat drawing is showing that he has gotten over Modeus and is ready to find love someone who is not a psychopath. Edit 3: I made a bit of a mistake with the timeline, the first instance shown of the walls skull incident was in 1925, I still think my timeline still fits due too Levi not having the L necklace that Momman gave him in Cups, which at the end he was wearing, I just wanted to acknowledge the mistake.

Lucer noticed and did something about it. She did what most older sisters would do for a sad younger sibling....she cried with them. ...I love this......
I think this has been your best animatic yet. Your line art is so smooth and pretty. And everything is so polished. I can understand if you can't constantly produce animatics like this but I just wanted you to know that its really amazing.

This hit close at home, and I simply love all of the stories of these characters and their relationships, but dam when your quiz told me I was like Levi it wasn't lying.
Yeah I'm alot like him too. So much it hurts me to see him hurting because I know what it feels like. I lost my grandfather only a few years back, and we were very close. Then got rejected and made fun of by my crush. I only recently got diagnosed with bipolar depression, and severe anxiety. I am glad to have a loving and supporting family live Levi has the other sins ♥️♥️♥️♥️

There are three things I thought about recently 💓 1) Imagine what it would be like if the sins talked to their counterparts (the 7 holy virtues) Like IMAGINE them meeting them individually! Some of them goofing off and having random interactions or having meaningful conversations. 2) Will Modeus have character growth? It seems like something happened that made him incapable of loving, but could that be reversible? 3) They do have a chart that shows the relationships with each other (canon) but can't their feeling towards each other change or develop?
I was avoiding this video for a literal month because you posted something wholesome and I was like "there's gonna be angst" But no. This video is bittersweet.
i've liked your animatics for a while, but this one really hit hard. it's probably my favorite. idk, there's a lot of things i love. the biggest thing that caught my eye the first time i watched this and enhanced that breaking moment when lucer and levi just cruMbled together was when lucer started crying in front of him, levi's initial response was to *smile.* *a g a in.* idk what it was but that just URGH that made it even WORSE LIKE I FUCKIN LOST IT MAN AAAFGHRRH and ofc i love it for the amazing artwork and attention to detail. god, you are so good at expressions and showing just how a character feels. you're a huge inspiration to me.

Tldr: this is gut wrenchingly good Watching these animatics is like getting invested in sad naruto amvs w/o having actually watched the show but u've been exposed to it so much that u have a vague idea of whats going on so u still get that gut punch feeling w/o the information provided to form an analytical explanation of the cause What im saying is that u have the capability to draw such vivid expressions and comprehensible plot progression at an animatic level, u could only imagine how magnificent a full animated production would look like, voice actors and all.

This hit close at home, and I simply love all of the stories of these characters and their relationships, but dam when your quiz told me I was like Levi it wasn't lying.
Yeah I'm alot like him too. So much it hurts me to see him hurting because I know what it feels like. I lost my grandfather only a few years back, and we were very close. Then got rejected and made fun of by my crush. I only recently got diagnosed with bipolar depression, and severe anxiety. I am glad to have a loving and supporting family live Levi has the other sins ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Ok, wow, I always want the best for Levi, but this was just so beautiful and sad, I'm going to cry in the corner now-
There are three things I thought about recently 💓
1) Imagine what it would be like if the sins talked to their counterparts (the 7 holy virtues) Like IMAGINE them meeting them individually! Some of them goofing off and having random interactions or having meaningful conversations.
2) Will Modeus have character growth? It seems like something happened that made him incapable of loving, but could that be reversible?
3) They do have a chart that shows the relationships with each other (canon) but can't their feeling towards each other change or develop?

My guess is that Momman found alcohol in Sloths possession and being the father-figure he is, was yelling at her. Then Levi came in and tried to defend her by making a snarky comment about Momman's past... and Momman's anger got the best of him.

All of your animatics are tied together, showing frames from ones previous to it. It blends it all together and makes the story so much better, giving it an actual timeline to follow. Tldr: this is gut wrenchingly good
Watching these animatics is like getting invested in sad naruto amvs w/o having actually watched the show but u've been exposed to it so much that u have a vague idea of whats going on so u still get that gut punch feeling w/o the information provided to form an analytical explanation of the cause
What im saying is that u have the capability to draw such vivid expressions and comprehensible plot progression at an animatic level, u could only imagine how magnificent a full animated production would look like, voice actors and all.
XD alright am actually very invested in these babies but this is the first animatic that made me full on cry,i love this and i love you mushie this is absolutely amazing!!!
