- "C'est La Vie” has long been the prime suspect to be our first single in 7 years.
It seemed only right to ask royalty to proof read the lyrics for us, without even hearing the track...
You and Dame Helen will be able to hear the actual song on Thursday 28th September.

Great song. Brilliant lyrics. Madness as relevant as they were during the last great destructive era of Tory rule. Only Dame Judy Dench could have read this as engagingly as Dame Helen Mirren. There really is nothing like a Dame.

As a french, I can clearly say : no ! I had to read the lyrics to understand what he said... Dame Elen speaks way better, I don't think she learned french, though, but she has a rather good prononciation. Great song, though, and I'm happy they're back

The words are the lyricist's responsibility. Her pronunciation passed muster with other French speakers. As someone with family from a former French colony, I should think you'd be more sensible than to police accents when you and yours very probably get shat on for the Algerian or Moroccan aspects of yours.
