I really liked Tille's character and was surprised she died so early. I think her character showed the viewers a different take on death. Given that she was dying from cancer and her disposition of having grieved her own death and separation from her family before she got to town made her unique. I think Tille could have been one of those spiritually wise type of souls in the town. She seemed good natured, well learned (perhaps an old soul), and she was interested in meditation and tarot. When the crow broke through the window, I was hoping Tille may have a spiritual disconnection with the town that would have liberated her by making her untouchable by the monsters. As far as Victor goes, I think Tabitha and Sara remind Victor of his mother and sister. I too thought it was a powerful scene that Tabitha and Sara together helped Victor remember something he has never drawn (because according to Victor the pictures remember so he doesn't have to.) Given that Victor's mom, Miranda, had the call of the "Anghkooey" kids I am surprised the boy in white went to Christopher with a tale of the castle instead of Miranda. I am usnure if the show ever detailed the boy in white ever communicating with Miranda. So, I am extra curious about what Miranda faced when she got to town and what affect Victor's message had on her journey. (For example, Victor saw the boy in white talk to Christopher about going through the farway tree to get to the castle. Yet some how, Miranda didn't make it to task when Victor told her the same story. Yet, some how again, Victor's influence somehow did help Tabitha get to the castle.)
I agree Tilly was a really great character. I think the town wanted to get rid of her because she had the tarot in a spiritual connection since she was close to death with her cancer diagnosis. I’ve learned a little bit through the theories and the preview for episode nine and I’m thinking that the reason that the boy in White did not speak to Miranda and also doesn’t speak to Tabitha except to push her out the lighthouse is because they are not the chosen ones. I believe that Jade and Christopher are the chosen ones. Even though the boy and White hasn’t spoken to Jade yet he has had visions in connection to the children has seen Christopher so I’m of the mind that Jade is actually the one who needs to save the children and Tabatha is supposed to help him get there. I also think this is why boy and White pushed her out of the lighthouse and send her to get Henry. He needed to be there to help finish the cycle. I still believe that kill the boy meant kill Victor and not kill Ethan. But I think we’re gonna get a lot more answers in the next two episodes.
