Switch version didnt made the split up it was the beta testers who said the game was too boring and empty
@@MrBaun0 Nobody is talking about that, one of the reasons Sonic games are holding back in graphics is because Sonic Team are probably making a switch game first then a pc game later.

Damn you miss some of the beta puzzles he restored in kronos story in the tutorial he added unused small enemies, unused gates now you need to cyloop the torches to open the game that was not necessary before that was in the beta. He also changed a lot more stuff in rhea specially rhea tower. To get the blue chaos emerald on kronos you don't need the spindash there is springs there to get up there. Nice video of the mod we need part 2.

If I re imagine Frontiers:
1. I'll keep the mystery and not reveal it thats one if my complaints is that the revelations are cutseens and not finding by you self i the last Island, so if theres a unique final Island, you should fine out the mysterys and the revelations will be revealed.
2. Put Shadow in cause he's my favourite character.
3. Most of the story is based on leaks.
4. I'll might do a crossover easter egg.
5. The obvious one is a unique final Island and this Island is based on the concept.
6. Ares and Chaos will have elements from the concept.
7. The End will have a true form I'll keep the Supreme and the bullet hell but the final fase will be a fight between Full Cyber Sonic and The End.
I hate when cool stuff like this gets cut during game development because of time constraints or hardware limitations thank god we have mods to bring them back

Been playing this mod and its updates for a while now. Definitely have only played with this mod with every Frontiers revisited. It just had hard as hell island challenges, but in the latest update they made unlocking the island doable. Snowy Ouranos is nice, but this mod is just chiefs kiss.

I definitely do think this is a great mod and a lot of fun to mess around with
But I also think that splitting the islands was probably a smart move because if we ignore rushed development and needing to pad out the game then I do think it makes sense to start out with a much smaller open zone (I.e. Kronos) to get people into the formula before then expanding outward with Ares
I think what they should’ve done was rather than a random ass big ring that takes you to the final horizon there’d be some ancient building, you enter it and go through a mini level similar to the ones on ares and chaos, once you get to the end they would be a massive computer terminal and naturally this would lead into a hacking mini game, once you’ve completed it a cutscene would play where we’d see what looks like an earthquake from Sonic’s prospective only for the camera to cut to the outside with it showing Ouranos and Kronos crashing into each other to make Beta Kronos, we’d then get another shot of the 5 master trial Towers rising up, (but 1: they would have different designs so they wouldn’t be confused with the ones on Rhea 2: one or two of them would be on Kronos) we would then get some sort of lore dump from Sage explaining what just happened but she would also reveal that merging the 2 islands into one has (somehow idk what the logic would be just roll with it) caused the already weak hold on The End to become even weaker as evident by the random glitchy effects happening everywhere suddenly, which would then cause Sage to suggest the idea of bringing back Sonic’s friends like in base game in which everything in final horizon plays out the same just with a LOT more space and platforming related to story progression would be moved around to accommodate for this massive space and hey more space equals more spots for potentially new guardians+ fights (prepare for strider+ with 50 rails to turn blue and if you fail you have to watch Skibidi toilet on repeat for 10 hours)

Actually sonic frontiers made me a sonic fan for the first time ever I feel like it was nice. I love what they did for sonic in the game and his friends I love it. I hope they can keep this in the new sonic games and I don’t want them to change what they’re doing with them.
