Thank you for this if I may ask I had a print shop make me a QR code for my business cards is there a way i can upload it to my computer so I can make stickers all I have is the business card with the QR code in it
If the print shop provided you with a digital file, you could use the same QR code, but the good news is you don't need to use the exact same one. If you want to make stickers, you can generate a new QR code with a free online tool (my fave is QR Code Monkey) and that will let you download a digital file you can use.

Can I create a QR code for wedding photo uploads?
One idea would be to create a QR code that takes you to a photo storage URL like a Dropbox link. If the Dropbox folder had open permissions to let people upload, that would be an easy way to achieve that.

It's 100% free to my knowledge. I don't think they charge for anything.

As a graphic designer and a normal consumer I vote "NO" to QR codes. Another unnecessary addition to our digital landscape. And they're ugly.

Can I use a QR code to download pics from an event?
It depends! If the photos for the event were housed in a location such as a Dropbox or similar storage service, you could create a QR code for that Dropbox URL that takes a person to where they can download the photos.

Do QR codes cost? I’ve seen websites that say you can use them for a certain amount of time but then it’s $9.99. Are these free?
QR Code Monkey is free! No sense in paying when you can get it for free. Unless you really want analytics and tracking on your QR code, I don't see any reason to pay. www.qrcode-monkey.com/

Watch out for these qr codes they can have hidden stuff on them even on legit ones. Personally I never use them as don't want fraudsters getting my personal info. Banking etc.
And you can use them to rickroll others :)

Why Chrome as they track everything that’s none of their business. No.,
but my pc don't have such thing likes in yours at first once you download it

Are the two sites free?
QR Code Monkey is absolutely free to generate a basic QR code. If you are trying to do something advanced it will take you to the PRO features which costs. If all you want to do is make and generate a QR code that goes to URL you shouldn’t have to pay for that.
you should mention you have to pay for a plan on the code generators

i want to scan a code to take me to a list......not sure how id be in a word type doc, with my list, and then make the QR code. saw your example from google chrome, so i can now make a QR from a website, but how do i make one for this list idea i have ? ty for the example and getting me started so far :) x
If you are wanting to send it to an online document like a Google Doc that is public, that document should have a URL associated with it. You can then take that URL and plug it into your QR code maker, and that should work.

If all you want to do is make a QR code that goes to any URL, then yes, it is free. If you want to go super fancy and get complex with them, you might have to pay depending on what you want to do.

Wow, Thank you for this video. Actually, me being a member of the older generation 😉 I am just trying to keep up so my business can thrive. Up until today ... when I saw these little "alien script" ( what I call them) I would say, "nope not interested". Well, I'm learning that these are very in and I'm about to head to a HUGE convention in a few days and as a business owner I am finding that this "alien script" has the potential to drive a ton of traffic to my business. I have paypal app. I made a QR from my QR app. How can I get connect the QR code to my paypal ? Then I can just show that code when selling items.
I think I follow. The club I'm in just did this recently. They took the PayPal account URL and pasted that into a QR code generator. That way when you scanned the code you could send payment to the club's account. Is that what you are looking for? It's just a matter of finding the right URL for your PayPal account.

Thanks for the heads up on those two sites.I'm looking into if QR codes can create AI images in some way via a website but I know they're meant for storing info so could they do something like store AI images? I'm really not techy at all so any tips from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
