Brilliant sled Jason. Well done!
Like #3. Nice explanation what gearing can do for you.
I learned 100% of my clutching/gearing know-how from your site and Olav Aaen's book over the years.
@@jasonblier im sharing your comments about "gearing" with a few guys.. hope they watch. is about your choice of top gear. THANKS. Weird how i did like #3 and now its at #2. hmm...
@@iBackshift Sounds good to me - if the info is useful, share away! Thanks for all your work/research/testing - its resulted in one *hell* of a clutch setup 👌
What about the mag side iso flex?
The mag side sees much less heat than the PTO side - plus the fact that you can’t easily get the old isoflex out of the mag side before adding new grease. There is a risk of overfilling and blowing out the seal. The PTO side is easier to access, easy to clean out old grease, and is the side that needs the attention usually.
I may top up the mag side this summer, but after that, I’m not going to worry too much about it. The centre bearings are also iso-packed and you can’t even get to those but they seem to last just fine.
