OCE Finally, an insightful comment. I've been saying this for years. Humans as a species are so selfish, since the beginning of our existence we've just watched mercilessly as fish struggled for air and then drowned. Big corporations have even failed to step in and speak up about this, and so billions of fish have died. We've lost countless species to this, such as the ancient megalodon. For years I've been unable to go to the beach or great bodies of water because I break down crying thinking of all the fish that are drowning in them. But now we have hope, thanks to you. Thank you, OCE. Thank you.
Off Grid Granny G An intelligent person is aware of the fact that large amounts of fertilizer, for whatever reason, entered the water as runoff, leading to an algal bloom. The algae in turn deprived the water of oxygen and lead to the death of these fish.
Michael Gomez Once the algae uses up all the excess nutrients available to it, the ocean water will return to normal. Don't know what the source of them is specifically or if it'll be a continuous supply so we'll just have to wait and see.
Bantham Nobilis red tides don’t insinuate that the water is entirely red. Sometimes during the day the water will look perfectly clear, but it’s filled with algae. The red color is usually seen later on or far out to see.
It could be chemicals brought from runoff into the water causing a massive amount of poisoning in the fish and as shown can deplete oxygen and it could be red tide. But I thinks river pollution is more likely, its the reason why the Gulf of Mexico is considered a dead zone. It may very well be el Nino which changes the water temperatures and condition and since fish are cold blooded they are really sensitive to their environment. This is both sad and inspiring. It's shows how us humans can change the world wether for good or bad.
CloakedSniper, in my opinion he should be sad for the amount of animals suffering with loss of oxygen and dying slowly... But every person is its own being. He may agree to disagree.
Mari Paraguay I doubt he actually thought it was awesome you stupid shit. he was excited at the variety of fish that he literally had right in front of him, shit you literally will never see.
Awesome doesn't necessarily mean good. It's more about inspiring awe, either positive or negative. For example: The power of that nuke going off was awesome.
This is Texas Gulf Coast, around this particular area, too hot during the day for most birds. They are usually around in the morning. But, they will be there having a field day when they figure out there's a ton of fish floating around, best guess.
This happens every summer in the Salton Sea due to algae blooms. The shore is littered with so much dead tilapia that you can't see the ground. The shores of the sea are piled with fish bones 3 ft deep. You can walk along and never touch the soil with you feet, there so many bones.
@The Fish Whisperer-Was the cause of the fish dying ever determined? (7/29/2020) Did Red Tide have anything to do with it (even though there didn't seem to be any visible signs of it in your video)?
Jaafar Harchaoui lack of oxygen in water, it's not nuclear waste or any of that, like in japan, rivers normally don't have a lot of oxygen, in them, and with all those fish in there, there wasn't enough to go around. it really is sad.
Max fishing these are freshwater fish, they are basically trapped in that river, cuz they can't go in the ocean, and if they go near the ocean for more oxygen, they start to die from the salt

This seems awfully fishy...
bird box - the aquatic version
Looks like the effects of a red tide, or an algae bloom
Yes, the water is thick with it. Depletes oxygen & gunk's up the gills. Very sad.
This is going to be people one day
Aaaand, now I'm picturing thousands of butt-naked humans floating in the water, while some flop about like fish.
Why would you think about that? That’s stupid imo
Thats stupid words

If they were puppies instead of fishes you wouldn't be be repeating "that's awesome" over and over again.
Mari Paraguay so it safe to say 'thats awesome'
CloakedSniper, in my opinion he should be sad for the amount of animals suffering with loss of oxygen and dying slowly... But every person is its own being. He may agree to disagree.
Mari Paraguay I doubt he actually thought it was awesome you stupid shit. he was excited at the variety of fish that he literally had right in front of him, shit you literally will never see.
Awesome doesn't necessarily mean good. It's more about inspiring awe, either positive or negative. For example: The power of that nuke going off was awesome.
So I guess I can say : "Jesus Christ, your death was awesome." ?
Do notice the sarcasm...
it gave swimming with the fishes a whole new meaning thats for sure :D
wow a lot of fish
My local reservoir was treated for "algae" and the chemicals they used did the same thing, even killed up to 10+ pound bass
When the government comes to help, WATCH OUT
Expect a discount on your Texas fish dishes.
how can tuna get cheaper?
its like 65¢ already!
Tappyslap 64 cents now
😂😂🤣🤣
Is there anyone on here who actually knows why this happened
Idk could be red tide
Probably lacking oxygen in the water so the fish go where there is more oxygen to not suffocate (or drown in that case) but it’s just a theory
Definitely Trump
lickitysplit roberts lol why are u here, its been almost 2 year
@@GucciShades-w1h why are YOU here? It's 3:30am. Lol
WTH!!?? Did you find out the cause? Pollution or something?
did you bring the flounder his pickles
Hey! Can I use your video for a project?
@NoWayItsMe yesn't
That's also asking to steal it with editing it as well
*Where are all the birds at?*
This is Texas Gulf Coast, around this particular area, too hot during the day for most birds. They are usually around in the morning. But, they will be there having a field day when they figure out there's a ton of fish floating around, best guess.
I'm dying laughing here all these chumps with their algae bloom and too hot for birds in Texas theory!! Fools
Throw a cast net PLEASE I want to see that

This happens every summer in the Salton Sea due to algae blooms. The shore is littered with so much dead tilapia that you can't see the ground. The shores of the sea are piled with fish bones 3 ft deep. You can walk along and never touch the soil with you feet, there so many bones.
Well I guess there's no need for click _bait_ XD
I'll leave.

What causes a massive fish kill?
MrToofunny7 skinny dipping 🤓
Rosie O'Donnell took a shit in that same lake...
@The Fish Whisperer-Was the cause of the fish dying ever determined? (7/29/2020) Did Red Tide have anything to do with it (even though there didn't seem to be any visible signs of it in your video)?
This actually makes me sad, we're killing the planet
Actually no
@@tineriddell5733 Trump told me climate change is just a Chinese conspiracy!
Maybe it is
A lot of people don’t know but fish can get so depressed that even they will try to drown themselves and succeed. Rip.....
What's wrong with the fish what happened?
Humans: they only see is a shoreline full of dead fishes.
Seagulls: This is a gift from God !!!
Would've been satisfying if you threw a net but they're diseased
Why are they all dying?!?
Jaafar Harchaoui lack of oxygen in water, it's not nuclear waste or any of that, like in japan, rivers normally don't have a lot of oxygen, in them, and with all those fish in there, there wasn't enough to go around. it really is sad.
DarthBlad Xbox One,and mobile! They should take the gamefish and eat them so it doesn't go to waste
DarthBlad Xbox One,and mobile! but how it's right beside the ocean
Max fishing these are freshwater fish, they are basically trapped in that river, cuz they can't go in the ocean, and if they go near the ocean for more oxygen, they start to die from the salt
DarthBlad Xbox One,and mobile! true I didn't think about that
So does anyone think it's just the red tide and not lack of oxygen?
Earl Sizeless hurricane harvey caused the salinity to rise, causing them to die. 8m not sure if this is true or not
These fish got dementia and forgot how to swim. Thats the only reasonable explanation.
good day to go swimming , water looks nice and warm
jarritos what fish ?
I looked it up and it said In the summer, the water gets too warm that fish cant get oxygen. Since its low oxygen, fish wont stay alive cause they need oxygen.
Dissolved oxygen meters are available if you search the web.
Aquatic Eco systems would be a source.
People: nice day to make fish
