to anyone thats reading this especially juniors I have my jee 2nd attempt in 2 days and here is my story,
I was an average kid in school, 10th grade was the first time where I actually started studying and I gave in every single day of hardworking woke up at 2am to study, I sometimes even pulled off all nighters because 10th ki percentage chahiye thi. my world turned upside down then boards got cancelled, I scored 92% even though I had a way better score than that.
I joined a 'cooperate coaching+cbse' school I believe me I didnt study anything the next 11-12 months, even for 11th finals, I kept telling myself time hai aur mental health ka bahana apne aap ko sunati rahi, duniya ki sunnti rahi.
by the end of 11th I decided my passion was to serve the country so I started studying for NDA I was consistent and I gave up literally everything for that September 2022 attempt, and again I failed. I remember when I saw the roll and my number was no where I broke down so many times. dekhte dekhte oct, nov, dec bhi nikal gya and I didnt study for ANYTHING NDA, JEE, NEET, BOARDS nothing. I almost gave up. now evidently my boards went really bad. jee 1st attempt ke like KUCH nahi pasha but score 50 percentile.
now I wouldn't blame luck or whatever, but the mistakes I made were:
1. I never left my comfort zone (mehenat toh kari hogi but comfort zone se Bahar nikalna is very important no matter what)
2. I spoke more than I worked. ( before my sep attempt I told but my prep for NDA to literally everyone I spoke to everyone. I kept myself on a pedestal without even achieving something)
3. under and over confidences ( self explanatory)
4. RUclips (a huge distraction)
5. friends/peers/classmates ka drama. (I got too involved in temporary things like these and I made my social life a priority even though I shouldnt be, you aren't gonna see any of these people again no point of making efforts)
6. I took failures in a very pessimistic way.
now I cant go back to 2021 and tell these things to my future self but if you're reading this and are in 11/12 please don't waste your time on temporary things, your streaks on snapchat, what these girls/boys think about you, how tired you are today so you cant study, if you go out with friends these many times. it doesn't matter.
you've surrounded yourself with mediocre people. but you are not mediocre. let them to bullsh*t rn, you have a bigger future to build.
I don't know ab Mera kya hoga. will update in a few months
WORK HARD, DON'T GIVE UP, ITS NEVER TO LATE AND THERES ALWAYS A WAY OUT.
