Peter Pan just kills me. The fact that I watched this movie that explores the concepts of growing up when I was 6, 7, 8 then one day just stopped watching it and totally forgot about it, and 20 years later I'm watching it with my kids as a grown up. It just hits hard lol

Now that I’m growing to become a better person it’s really stressful as a freshman in high school. A lot of expectations, make a mistake and you’ll fail miserably. First of all, this whole arrangement made me want to cry because it was just SO. WELL. DONE. I loved when Disney added "If I Never Knew You" to Pocahontas, however, your version (combined with "Farewell") made me INCREDIBLY nostalgic because it literally sounded like it belonged to a scene in Kingdom Hearts--which makes sense being that it's Disney themed, but it was absolutely magnificent!!

Oh, how many nights I stayed awake when I was younger, hoping praying, to the little patch of sky I could see past the fence that sheltered my window, that I could just hear a tap on the glass, the shimmer of magic, to be whisked away by Peter Pan to Neverland. How many embarrassing years passed that I thought I had buried it in the past only to find that I had never let the dream go, and try again, wishing and wishing at the window. How now, so many years later still, that song just breaks my heart so easily with every listen.

I first found this when i was working in child care in the fall of 2016, and getting to put this on during nap time was the only bright spot in a horribly stressful day. Now yrs later i finally landed my dream job at a place i could not even imagine back then. Now i needed some music to play in the background while i am working & came across this again! Almost 8 yrs later and it makes me so happy that i can now listen to this and not only enjoy beautiful disney songs while working at a job i love, but it makes me smile extra big being reminded of how far ive come! Oh, how many nights I stayed awake when I was younger, hoping praying, to the little patch of sky I could see past the fence that sheltered my window, that I could just hear a tap on the glass, the shimmer of magic, to be whisked away by Peter Pan to Neverland. How many embarrassing years passed that I thought I had buried it in the past only to find that I had never let the dream go, and try again, wishing and wishing at the window. How now, so many years later still, that song just breaks my heart so easily with every listen.

I first found this when i was working in child care in the fall of 2016, and getting to put this on during nap time was the only bright spot in a horribly stressful day. Now yrs later i finally landed my dream job at a place i could not even imagine back then. Now i needed some music to play in the background while i am working & came across this again! Almost 8 yrs later and it makes me so happy that i can now listen to this and not only enjoy beautiful disney songs while working at a job i love, but it makes me smile extra big being reminded of how far ive come! This is definitely part of my life soundtrack 🥰
