- Ryan gets given a old CBR893 Fireblade from a family friend that needs a full restoration. It will be a bit of a project. The engine hasn't fired up in a while. Follow the series to see how the rebuild project progresses. Bring on the track bike project.
There are a few nice bits on this, fully set up suspension, Harris rear sets, full Akrapovic exhaust system etc.

Always loved the blade.
The Fireblade was a revelation when it first came out in the early 90s - looks, performance and half the price of a Ducati.

Don’t be silly, this is Ryan’s! The RSV is still around, expect some moto vlogs of the Mille soon. Filmed out at the weekend but there was an issue with the GoPro mic so no sound!

Is there a cooler name than Fireblade? Idk why Honda didn't use the name on the other side of the Atlantic.
What name did they use over there? Just cbr?
@@gingerbreadbikers ya just cbr 900 in 1994 although I think we picked up the fireblade name later on. I'm not entirely certain I just remember reading UK bike Mags as a kid in the 90s thinking ohh fireblade what's that knowing at the time we didn't have them. I rode a cbr600f2 in the 90s. The dealer strongly discouraged me from buying the 900 as my first sport bike and likely saved my life.
