Minor detail I prefer 20-50 and always have especially as I now live in AZ and it's doesn't really need the low end weight. I may be incorrect but the story was that Ford created the Xflow engine but no oil could cope with it then Castrol came out with GTX and the engine loves it.
Nice job on the engine swap. That engine oil that you don't think is any good is what was recommended for that car when it was new. The stuff you're putting in it now wasn't even invented when that car was made
Great video! AJ6 oil drain plug are almost always stripped, due to the giant plug and weak threads in the aluminium pan. On mine, I drilled and threaded a hole in the middle of the drain plug, to fit a small modern drain plug. Then, a few days later, when all the oil dripped out of the drain, I cleaned it thoroughly and used JB-Weld to permanently fit the big oil plug to the pan. I did it 2 years ago and it's still fine. Now I drain the oil with the small plug, in the middle of the big plug. I can send a picture if you want!
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
if it had been me, I would have put a new oil filer on the replacement engine at the same time as putting the new oil in the car. Otherwise, you are just leaving a filter full of the old krapito ont the engine. False economy. A new oil filter is cheap insurance.
The most suspenseful oil drain plug removal of all time.
My word Adam ! That oil was dirty ! I'll make certain l do this with my M.G .......and TR6 .....and "e"type ! 😊
Sweet as a nut, you two did an incredible job. I would love to see that headlining replaced though!!🙂
Well, another success story. Really want to see that XJ40 with the interior done over and the Jag looking great ! Thanks
The suspense with that sump plug was palpable 😂. Looks like the flush cleared out lots of muck 👍
I was glad to see the flush worked so well Adam best regards Andy Allen.
Keep your oil clean, warm the engine gently and it’ll last forever.
Enhorabuena por traducir los vídeos en español. Gracias

I forgot to mention that you do need a new oil pressure switch. Your pressure is neither that high or that low

The filter was replaced. Just forgot to mention it
