Hey ! thanks a lot really, I couldn't watch it without showing my appreciation, you did this for free, tired at 3AM for us. Halfway through my ATPL and these videos are helping me a lot. All the best from Portugal.
I actually went out yesterday and practiced circling approaches. We didn't use them at the airline, so I wanted to make sure I could complete one without gaining /losing altitude and stay within the 1.3 nm radius. Worked out well. Question: "Radar Required" on a plate means ATC radar, not aircraft (wx) radar, correct?
Approach chart at 12:30 is a little bit busy and can be confusing. Firstly if you don't have dual VORs then you will not be able to identify neither FOLIG nor ZOPRI and you can not use the minimums that says dual vors required. So how you can tell you are at FAF - FOLIG if you don't have dual VORs, well approach control will tell you. That's why it says "RADAR" under the fix. And how you know you are at MAP? For that you have to use timed approach. Other than that great class thanks for putting it together.
Thank you for these videos. I just got my private last month and slowly easing my way through time building
