The amount of big heats I've seen Kanoa wait and wait and never take a wave and blow the heat, kid needs to surf more, he's got the talent he just might start winning a few more
Kanoa’s 8.0 was a bigger and better surfed wave that Filipe’s 8.5…..but the fact that Kanoa only caught one wave until the last few minutes he deserved to lose.
@@druwwwwave size has always been a part of the judging criteria. The same turns on a bigger wave will score better than if they were on a smaller one.

Judges did it again, overscoring Felipe! Kanoas wave bigger and equally as good better then Felipe’s. Nothing against Felipe he is one of the best. But judges seriously need to relax

the speed and power filipe puts in his maneuvers/surf counts..it's not all about picking up the best and bigger waves that are easier to surf
