I lived in USA for over 20 years (several parts of USA but mainly Chicago and Orange County, CA). The strange thing or I should say the most beautiful thing I noticed is even after September 11, I found most of Americans very kind and open towards me. In fact they became very protective of me. Yes there are racists there but I found they are in very much minority. I remember huge protests in Los Angeles against war on iraq. Many white Americans were arrested.
What amazes me that how real understanding of Islam change people, she and sister Kristiane Becker are the clear example of it. But again one has to humble himself or herself and beg Allah for guidance as Islam can’t enter your heart as long as you are arrogant.
