- A fast-moving snowstorm brings accumulating snow & a wintry mix to New England today. Expect slick travel, snow-covered roads, and a quick burst of snowfall before mixing in and around the MA Pike by early afternoon. Blustery winds Friday (40 mph gusts), followed by a stronger storm Saturday night into Sunday with higher snowfall totals for parts of the region.

We've got about 4" in Portsmouth already by the looks of it. Really coming down as of 1:00 PM. My local TV station was calling for 1-3" this morning. I knew that didn't sound right even before the snow started. You guys got it right. A win for independent weather teams!
