Very useful exercises. All exercises of this type tension/relaxation should be practiced for a longer time so they could enter the subconscious😀 and became the base of one's technique.

Why do so many other guitar teachers gloss over this point without detailing all the points you do? I just went through an entire songbook frustrated about the inconsistency of my fingerpicking. Some days it would be fluid, other days I'd be hitting the neighbor strings over and over. Now I can go back through them all with this in mind. Thank you for this video!

My sons Spanish Mastero was thought by his Mastero (he once after a lot of pressure by me, described him as "Segovia colleague") would put a raw egg 🥚in left hand to hold while playing, lol, not to mention the worse, half broken, say 4 working strings guitar to use lol...
He would say, first learn to ***create music*** from anything,,,
Mind you, he refused to teach using the raw egg method & would laugh saying "children, nowadays are different"

Bozhana appears to play with her left knee very high, presumably supported on a footstool, in order to bring her instrument to about 45degrees rather than using a guitar rest. Am I right in thinking that quite an unusual position these days - as it doesnt look very comfortable!
How is it unusual? The foot stool seems to be the main choice by professional players for performances. Most people I have seen recommend practicing with a support but actually using a foot stool for real performance.
It's bad for the back in the long term
