You're a really good teacher. I want to be a good student and learn and use the skills you teach but I struggle to recall how you do these. I'm glad you put them on RUclips so I can watch over and over how you doing these things that I don't know how to start to do. I think I'll be watching over and over and over (in between my crying because I don't get it)
Robert, this is great. Just what I was looking for and very well presented. AWESOME!!!!! Thank you. Do you also have a tutorial on the custom action to change the array from 1,1,1,0,0,0,0,0 to 0,1,1,0,0,0,0,0 when the user clicks on the first inline list item?
Hello and thank you for your tutorials. I am currently trying to create an app for menus. My idea is that I have a recipe for a menu with the usual information preparation time, vegetarian or not and so on. Now I have a problem with the ingredients. In the app I have created a dropdown list for the ingredients. The ingredients have other information stored in them - season starts and ends. Just as an example. When creating a new recipe, the ingredients are entered into the menu row via a dropdown. When I look at the manu in the app, I can only display the ingredients as text. However, I would like the ingredients to be displayed filtered by the menu in an inline list so that I can click on the ingredients and be shown the further information of the ingredient. Is this possible? I hope that was understandable. I have no idea how to display an ingredient filtered by menu in an inline list. Maybe you have a good idea.
Use a split text column to split the ingredient selection column. Then, create a multiple relation column that relates the splitIngredient column to the list of ingredients. Does that work?
hi Robert, is it possible to do the same with a public app (no users with email) and with numbers (ex : from 0 to 20), not true or false datats ? thanks for your help and this video
Amazing content it indeed is a miracle method , I have one doubt is it possible to link any other table values with the badges , here we are doing with users
@@RobertPetittoWA displaying the health items works but only for user specific users. I tried using the same technique from your social private message app where it displays the person’s uploaded photos. I know there’s a way but I’m a little new to Glide. Thanks in advance!
@@RobertPetittoWA update: I found a even better solution! Created a form that users can select their own emoji and text to be featured on their profile. I think custom user profiles are becoming a popular feature and want to bring that with my app.

Sorry I don’t have a tutorial for that.

For sure! Take a look at my Call API video around minute 20-something. I showcase this usecase there.
@@RobertPetittoWA thanks ! can you give me the video URL ?

Yea it’s possible. You’d need a different method of bringing the values into the working table.
Is there a way to do this without a set column ? Because just to view data we are updating the table and is eating our update quota.
No, at this time, this is the only way to accomplish transposition
Where can I find this template to copy ?
I don't have this template available to copy.
IS there a way to show this data on a user profile, so that other people can glance at it without having to click to view?
Can you give me an example of what you’re trying to do?
