In this video, we test ourselves against a professional football goalkeeper who is one of the lowest rated players in FIFA 21! We wanted to find out how good he really was, as EA often give unfair ratings to soccer players who are less known.
On FIFA 21 Career Mode, Daniel Skretteberg is 50 rated, making him one of the worst keepers in the game. But as you will see, he is an absolute beast in real life!
Is 50 a fair rating for him? If not, what rating do you think he deserves? Will he be added to Ultimate Team 21 soon? How does he compare to some of the best fútbol keepers like Neuer, Courtois, Alisson Becker, Ter Stegen, and Onana? Would they have saved some of the golazos we scored against Daniel?

We go through a bunch of challenges to see just how good he really is.
We try to score some incredible goals against him, free kicks, volleys, long shots, and penalties!
We were honestly very impressed with his performance. He made some unbelievable saves, and you could tell that he was a class keeper, although some of our knuckleballs caused a bit of trouble.

Still some of the lower professional league ratings stats are very inaccurate and that’s just because it isn’t well documented or watched, you have rapid 55 rated players (In real life) getting a high 60s or low 70s pace rating. Most of these stats are random for the lower leagues, just not accurate

Ppl forget that FIFA’s rating are literally based on fame/club like I’ve seen tonnes of times when a player from a lower club is like in 70-75 but is suddenly an 80+ when they get signed by a big club. One example of this in practise is salah Roma to liverpool, I’m not saying he’s bad tho lol

That's a long time ago and only one season. Played at KRC Genk back then. Second season silver. Then Chelsea. Good times. Before and after Courtois, KRC GENK never sees Champions League.
I had been wondering for a while how FIFA were able to see every player and then rate them accordingly on how they actually perform...until I realized that they didn’t, and probably made up ratings for a lot of players

They have hundreds of scouts who are dispatched to watch matches in person. Look it up, it’s pretty interesting.

they really do that. especially for some random players that only like 100 people ver will know, and only 20 of them play fifa and 2 of them will care about their stats.

This is a little rant don't mind me. Despite the fact that players in the low 40s to 50s are dog in the game, they're not. The reason they're so low is because of three simple things. Experience, League, Team. Those really end up defining a good portion of your rating, even if you're the best player in the league. (PS i know it's not really correct but it's true to an extent lol)

He isn’t bad. It’s prolly because EA have never actually seen him play, they just assume he’s “50” rated because he’s very young and new.
These are set shots which are quite easy to save. I've never seen him play but by watching this I think 50 to 55 rated is fine, also he is young so should get better anyway.

@@matthewbarone9088 even those shots are hard. Shots with the spin like that are hard to defend, and the goal is closer to the box. If you think those are easy to save than i dont know. And the other guy is the one that frased it wrong, set shots are penaltys, free kicks, corners...
@@ochicha one of my mates is a good goalkeeper and he says outside of the box set shots are one of the easiest ones to save since you have more time to get to the ball and dive and save. Reflex saves are probably the hardest.

he has a low rating in FIFA probably because rating in FIFA is relative. So when compared to the best keepers in the world he is not that good and hence his rating is low
A lot of those shots were impossible to stop but he made some great saves still. Respect for this keeper.

Before they shooting make some press with small deviation in your position , dont stick in the perfect center and anticipate before the shoot with 80cm of margin left or right for anticipation or for pressing the shooter
