I just discovered your channel. I have to say, I have rarely seen such a well-explained tutorial. Your way of explaining things is extremely understandable and easy to follow. I would think it would be great if you explained how to render such projects in Redshift. I hope for many, many more tutorials in this style. Thank you!
This is a great start, but how do you setup hair for characters when the groom is done already and we need to sim the guides and translate the dynamics to the groom to render?
Do you have any tipps, when the hair clips through the collider? i have high substeps and collision passes, but when my object hits the hairs, the hairs clipping through :/

Instead of holding down J you can choose the node with Shift+Enter and it will be automatically connected to previous one.
Thanks, for pointing this out. I am aware of that. I just wanted to also show the J feature.
Amazing Tutorial!!!

21:30 Thank you. This is all I wanted. You pay for certain courses and they don't even show how to view hair colour in viewport!!!
So helpful! Thank you so much.
You are welcome!
Thank you very much,sir

hi
Is possible have colision hair -> geometry without have to simulate?

Maybe it’s related to the collision geometry or the hair guides resolution. Usually collision passes solve these problems.
Do you still use x-particles in cinema4d or only houdini now?
I completely switched to Houdini. The particle system is great! But when C4D was my main 3D program, I spent a lot of time with x-particles.
