not true. when your qb can’t beat a blitz you’ll be blitzed to death. an oline is 5 guys. they can’t block 5-7 rushers. the bears need to get out of shotgun, run the ball and have some blitz beaters.
@shake6321 they won. Caleb hasn't thrown for 250 yet. It can come, but don't shit on JF he's gone, and he went thru way worse than Caleb. Bears just have to do better, Caleb and the OC

Win or lose I'm a diehard Bears fan, but come on mannnnn!!! I'm tired of the same old story every freaking week. At the end of the day, have to see the hope in that, we lost by only 6 to a very very good Texans team that will go far in the playoffs. Still need to pull out the wins! LETS GO BEARS!!!
I screamed and screamed and screamed and pounded the table for the last 2 off-seasons to draft a center in the early rounds!!!!! They refused to do it and I said it would cost them. I got NOTHING but pushback from this fanbase saying I was overreacting, that “we have Whitehair who’s serviceable” or “Ryan Bates rarely allows pressures when he plays” derp derp derp. WHERE ARE ALL THOSE CLOWNS NOW?!?!?! 🤡 You passed on John Michael-Schmitz not once but TWICE. Ended up with Dexter & Stevenson which okay fine they look like good building blocks. But then you should’ve pursued somebody like Joe Tippmann who’s the starting center for the Jets. HOW DOES MY ASS TASTE CLOWNS?!
@@juancruz5132But that was after they had already ruined him. He became more of a running back than a quarterback. He even had Poles believing the line was better. And here we are.
He had a worse o line (same players but they were hurt) less weapons, and Luke getsy in his first oc job. Dude was fighting uphill the day he got drafted to chicago. Caleb got everything, and he's supposed to be generational.

Granted. The O-line did not play well last night and needs to improve. However, you cannot blame it all on them. The purpose of a blitz is to overwhelm the O-line with more people than they possibly can block. Adjustments can be made to deal with blitzes, none of which were implemented by our OC. Our OC is an embarrassment.
Just want to see Caleb prove that he is a top 10 QB by the end of this season. Don’t need to even be 500. Next season all moved and pics need to be towards new Oline, Dline and Running backs.
Its week 2.... take a massive chill pill and consider the fact we just kept a top 5 team under 20 and stayed within 1 score of them. Its gonna take time for this to gel on offense
i agree with you but i serious concerns about our OC and our game plan. they think caleb is manning in his prime and they’ve thrown the kitchen sink at him. they prob need to dial it it back
Caleb's level of play did increase from Game 1 to Game 2. Higher completion %. Higher yardage. Texans got more pressure than the Titans. Compared to these two games... Caleb should have a big boost vs Indy next week.
The offensive Line had its problems and lack of running between the Tackles for sure! But Caleb has to do a better job of being on schedule and getting rid of the ball under 2 & half seconds! He definitely held onto the ball too long! Study Long? Study Wrong! We should've taken a center after drafting Caleb! In Poles I trust!
I've seen this MOVIE before and without Stud WRs and a stud Defense. Next episode: Caleb will be rolling out of the pocket...hmmmm, JF1 did that for 3 years
Running wide to the side multiple times against a 5 time probowler who is set extra wide, is bad. Swift running backward around it rather than foot in the ground in the LT/LG area, is bad. Power O up the middle vs Titans is a bad idea due to the strength being those DTs. But the Texans strength is those DEs on wide edges. Power O with Herbert up the gut got em a TD. Herbert being used like he was caught with Waldron's wife or something.
How to destroy a talented QB? Try to get as many shiny WRs as possible and do nothing to protect your QB. He won't survive 10 games until he's hurt. He left the field like a broken man. Good job Bears.
I always said if the offense fails it's due to the OC. The OLine was no help but Waldron's playcalling was like a kid playing Madden. Herbert should have been used more and why even dress Tyler Scott? Pass catchers dropping perfectly thrown balls.
Our offensive coordinator was shaking on National Television, at the start. How is that dude, calming a rookie QB and shaky O-Line. He didn't - he can't - replace him today. Three years ago Ryan Poles was handed the best Draft picks in over a decade and he wasted both on QB's - without Line protection. Replace Poles today. D'Andre Swift has lost a step, can't effectively pass block, demote him today. The Chicago Bears are the MAGA of the NFL - all Branding, no positive action.

If #18 is generational, he wins the game in the clutch last drive with x seconds on the clock. That’s where you have to step up and kill it.
