@@girlsaviuh yeah the blue prints were being weighted down by Sky's journal. Viktor shifts the journal and sees that there are NEW Hextech weapon blueprints, proving that Jayce has been designing new weapons while Viktor recuperated.
Oh! So important: this episode shows us something about Silco. In the first scene we meet him, he injects himself effortlessly. It seems that he let Jinx think* he couldn't do it so that she felt needed (something she's always chased).
I took that to mean he trusted Jinx enough to let her do it, for years now, to the point he grew unused to doing it himself. In s1e7, when jinx barges in on him and threatens him about Vi, you can see he is having trouble trying to inject himself.
What I love about Jinx is that she's such an unreliable narrator to HERSELF. End of season 1, she said yep, that's it, I'm just Jinx, I'm totally secure and solidly behind this new identity. But she was lying to herself. She was desperately trying to solve her issues with some finality she just didn't have.
I love how Sevika arm basically where her loyalty lie. She sacrificed her arm to saved Silco, Smeech offer her a brand new arm for free if and only if she sides with him, which she didnt. Then she accept the arm jinx made for her and now stand with jinx. Also love that line from Jinx "It was something i could fix", its a call back because Powder was the one blew her arm off.
It is a really cool moment. I loved the whole scene before, during, and after the fight. I love that after Silco dies, she almost immediately starts helping in small ways(saving Isha, building Sevika's arm). Free of his negative influence, she is already trending in a positive direction.

18:53 This moment... sums up Jinx for me. She is most of the time at her lowest point. Clearly weakened, emotionally and desperately in need of love... clinging to her attempt to be useful... And, right in this moment when you wait and maybe even beg for life thhis time to give her some help... what does she get? More pain :D That punch... is life answer. 🥊 Sevika and the little girl appearing, is like the consequence of her having even in this hell, kept holding on to something. Her dance in the midst of this struggle, in the midst of this chaos is a lesson of resilience... Anyway, just an interpretation of this scene that I loved so much. I'll shut up now 😂

I feel that you need an explanation on who Singed is. Singed is a scientist that used to work alongside Heimerdinger, its the one that "saved" Jinx on episode 8 of season 1, the one that had interactions with Viktor when he was young and the one that used to work for Silco at the first 3 episodes of season one (he fed that cat to the rat testing shimmer). So he is now the one doing all this dirty work on every final scene of the last episodes
jinx managed to create sevika an arm that both encompasses her own artistic style and chaos, as well as caters to sevika's interests, as we learn in season one that she likes to play cards and gamble. so, a slots arm just makes sense! love the dynamic between them this season.
loved your excitement for the jinx and sevika scene because that was me too!! totally agree on ur analysis of jinx btw, keep up the great content man :)
There in the street Jinx was not fearful, she was avoidant. Some people avoid by escaping the dark alley. Some others avoid by becoming the dark alley.
I love the parallel when jinx is in the water letting go of Silco, and we hear his voice from that flashback in season 1 saying, "Have you had enough?", right before she starts screaming just like he did back then.
This is probably my favorite episode of season 2. Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the magnificent pun of Sevika being the 'One-Armed Bandit'?
The undercity has mastered their own technology called Chemtech (using various chemicals for all sorts of stuff). The Chembarons are the crimelords/mob bosses at the top of the chemtech industries. They basically all run their own areas of the undercity with Silco in The Lanes being the overall boss.
Imagine having accepted your fate of dying, being assured that your partner will destroy the hexcore because he promised, and instead waking up as something mechanical brought back from the dead and that the hexcore was not only not destroyed, but is now part of your body and your new life. To make matters worse, you see the blueprints for the hextech weapons (under Sky's book), something you never agreed to. Not only did they not respect your death, but they also did not respect your will for the use you wanted to give to the hextech. And that's because I'm not going to elaborate on the parallelism between Rio (Singed's experiment that Viktor knew as a child) and his resurrection. :')
Worth noting that when Viktor heals Huck, he also restores his hairline. And in his vision of Sky, she no longer has her glasses. He's fixing what he sees as imperfections.

@ the gasses are a byproduct of the industrialization of Piltover, they just happen to end up in Zaun. It’s not super clear but I think the fissures is just the parts of Zaun where the gas would accumulate, and it happens to be where the miners would often, well, mine.
It's also alive. Anything toxic eventually gain consciousness in Runeterra if concentrated enough. The Grey is aware of itself, and malicious. When the enforces throw the greybcanister into Jinx's hideout, it moves in jerking motions against the concept of wind or gas dispersion, Heenot sees it's eyes, the Kiramman archives show it as a blob monster looking this, and when Heenot was tied up, the tendrils of smoke he's breathing in are also not properly obeying how smoke would. It's alive, aware, and malicious, and Vi willingly used it as a weapon, THAT was the ultimate betrayal, they used the very thing theyre trying to prevent to attack the people they were meant to protect
I get so frustrated watching your reactions because you stop and talk right before the show answers your questions, but I suddenly realized it is because you are doing exactly what I wished for. You are stopping and telling me what your thoughts are at that second, because if you played through a few seconds later when you get more info, those thoughts would be dead and gone and I would not know those thoughts ever existed. So thanks for giving me exactly what I wanted, and shame on me for not appreciating it more.
The lab dude in the end is Singed, he’s the creator of shimmer and was there when the explosion happened in season one, that’s why his chin is covered and lost an eye, he’s still working on one of his subjects to reach ‘immortality’, he doesn’t have limit when it comes to science, and dont forget that he mentioned he was in piltover, but due to his ‘unethical’ experiments, he parted ways with heimerdinger, more details will come in future episodes where you will understand his character development and his justifications
One thing to note is that Netflix's subtitling on songs is literally incorrect, the subbed lyrics are not true to the song's lyrics, and they didn't even try to correct it. 😒😒 For example, at 5:21, the actual lyrics are "Pretty little lamb, don't come down here."
I'm surprised by how many people reacting to Arcane say absolutely nothing about Jinx asking Silco "who put all these holes into you?" She doesn't blame herself or Vi or even Cait, she just decides her little dinner party didn't happen.
This is a bad take. As a trauma response Jinx can only bring herself to acknowledge the manner of his death at that moment, she would not have been able to complete her eulogy if she also took responsibility, it would have been too much and Jinx was not the focus of her monologue, Silco was. She knows she is the cause of Silco's death, but now was not the time to bring that up. Jinx was speaking to Silco about Silco. No one else mattered at that moment. Besides Jinx didn't shoot to kill Silco, she shot to protect Vi, and just as Mylo and Claggor died when Powder was trying to save Vi, Silco died when Jinx tried to save Vi. Silco forgave Jinx in his dying breath, Jinx doesn't need to carry that burden, the only person that COULD blame Jinx for Silco's death forgave her. Who are you, who suffered no harm, to blame her?
@ She doesn't blame herself. She merely states that she might owe Silco a revolution due to the "murdering and all" but she does not blame herself, she sorely misses Silco and regrets his death. But she does not blame herself. For comparison, she blames herself for Mylo and Claggor's death. Years of carrying that guilt. Silco forgave her. It is done, regrettable but done.
Did you already watch avatar the last airbender? It has some pretty serious heavy character development and A LOT a therapist could psychoanalyze and pick up from that show

Silco forgave Jinx in his dying breath, Jinx doesn't need to carry that burden, the only person that COULD blame Jinx for Silco's death forgave her. Who are you, who suffered no harm, to blame her?
@Hawkido Jinx rightfully also blames herself. (Did you finish season 2?)
Her line about being cursed and ruining a family or society is so sad
Did you already watch avatar the last airbender? It has some pretty serious heavy character development and A LOT a therapist could psychoanalyze and pick up from that show

Vi never reassured her that she loved her which led her to chose the Jinx chair
Her saying she killed Silco is a way to be tough to scare those gang members but deep down Silco’s death is destroying her.
She believes she is a jinx because no matter what she does people close to her die
