Tip never sail from volney to hardlo if u don't want you're ship to sink plan a rout and at best said in the morning. also this is a very useful video
Yeah true, if you are using a slooper, but if the user has a bucket and is half-awake during the trip then they should be fine. But if somehow the user does indeed sink the barrels in the ship will save and the user can join another game and select "spawn on ship" to spawn where they left off without losing any progress.

Blue Audio I agree with you when you can take a route from island to island to checkpoint so if you get sunk you can respawn.
i went from volney to hardlo today on a sloop with 10 barrels which is the limit for a sloop yet nothing happened and everything went smoothly, the only question is, are high waves really dangerous?? because my sloop easily sails through them.
To new players: it's best not to sail giant distances, as the open seas are prone to high waves and storms which can easily sink your ship if you don't know how to captain it properly. Take the waves head on or avoid them altogether. Going from Volney to Aerisland can be highly effective and relatively risk-free. Ping pong from Volney to the Hilltop Outpost if you wish to level up fast.

I always go full risk and even sail in the open sea when the high waves warning popped up. I never sank to this day.

Let's say your ship is moving forward and the wind is moving from left to right
Now if you angle your sails to the right WHILE your ship is moving forward your telling me it will speedup instead of moving to the right?

@@HPgamerOne So if the sails are set to the right and the boat is facing forward, instead of capsizing or simply slowly moving to the right and actually obeying the laws of physics the boat will instead just casually continue to ignore all laws of physics and reality and casually proceeds to move at the same direction but faster?
If only it was like this back in the 19th centuries
This is actually how it works in real life, it will cause a strong list yes, but as long as you don't go too far in real life your pretty golden as the forward motion and the shape of the hull both keep the ship straight and upright

I'm going back to volney and hilltop but and I tried to o go to aeris land it was ok until a pirate sunk me and my ship kept sinking in the dock so I used the drydock
For some It will not let me place the barrels
I have no axe and I need lots what do I do
Probably the most easy way is to ask someone for help to get resources or a new axe
