Nice video! Tachibana are great here, but I think their best performance was that in Bandfest itself as shown in your other video. No other band, I have ever seen, has been able to _prove_ you can play music on the Sousaphone, as Tachibana does in Sing, Sing, Sing... ;-)
When they exit the stage, they form a procession and dance to the music, which has similarities to the Awa Odori dance that has been around since before the Early Modern era．It is interesting that while they use instruments that originated in the West, there are also some very Japanese aspects to it． Kyoto Tachibana is a place where the students practice independently．The flexibility of the young students’ thiking brings out new ideas in the performance．We can look forward to seeing more of them in the future．

いよいよですネ🙂2018年のローズパレードで、橘が「sing sing sing」の演奏を始める時に、隊列がパアァっと広がりスタンドからの大歓声が上がる映像を、今も強烈に覚えています👊ローズパレードの本番の映像を、楽しみに待っています🙂
私の個人的な感想。
これってもしかしたら2018年を超えるかも........。ただ、著作権の関係上、アーティストの楽曲が使えないとしても音質が2018年より格段に向上してるし
あれだけ纏ってパフォーマンス出来れば.......最優秀賞取れるかも...........。

@@奥村宣充 最近の国内の活動はこぢんまりして、ローズ大丈夫かなと心配していましたが、費用高騰で大変とのことで、今まで視聴したお礼とコロナ禍の117期の応援をしたが、卒業生も休まず新曲演奏、かなり練習していたのかと感心、沢山の制約のなか、大化けしました！弾け感は違う感じですが、纏まって良かったです♪
本番頑張って下さい💪

ローズパレードは、五年に、一度しか出れません来年は箕面自由学園だそうだが次が有れば1030年ですね、
5年間出られない？2031？間に入っているグリーンバンド協会も高騰する費用に資金が厳しく、クラファンの時も橘、最後のローズ！の話も出てて、近い将来、参加見合わせの意向の話もあります♪
次回の参加は、残念ながら無理であろう。渡航費用が高すぎる。２００人で約２億円は掛かるだろうし著作権の問題の問題があり、その費用は、参加者側が支払うことになる。大体、学校の俱楽部活動でこれだけの費用を払える学校が何処にありますか。プロの楽団じゃないんですよ。
出場して欲しい気持ちは、私も同感ですが、ちょっと無理だと思います。

@ 箕面自由学園も資金調達は厳しいだろう。クラファンしても知名度が低いため資金調達が出来ないだろうし、グリーンバンド協会も学校側も資金が出せないだろう。やはり個人負担(親)しかないだろう。2027年以降、日本からの出場は出来なくなるだろうと思います。

橘高校の新しいレパートリーはとても良いのですが、なぜ吹奏楽部には指揮者が3人しかおらず、なぜ117番と118番のDMがいないのでしょうか？ ? 第121回DMも好調でした！でも119期のDMはちょっと大袈裟すぎて、自分を誇示するために大袈裟な動きをするのはダメだよ！
