I thought that was like a throwaway question, kinda rigged for Doug Doug's side since it gives no useful info and then it lost him 2 games
For people who didn’t see the stream, the reason Doug says that there was Banjo Kazooie gameplay is because the first time he played it, after revealing it he just left the game up and continued playing, while also strategically asking chat to spam something whenever there was a question. He actually got away with it for a couple minutes before Chat realized they still hadn’t said the name of the game yet.

If I had never gotten LASIK years ago, I don’t think I would’ve been able to guess Glover to send that TTS. Conversely, I might’ve shaved years off my perfect vision by straining to recognize those pixels during this stream. Worth it.

@Name_lastname83718 Main style normally has some sort of scripting before and during the video, which is why it requires more effort on Doug's part since he has to do the writing and VO. Side channel stuff is basically just highlights of a stream concept, the editors work with whats on stream and Doug doesnt have to do anything extra once the stream is done.

This was a fun stream. Still can’t believe the review picked for Hitman was the one thing that could possibly give it away immediately. Like what do you mean how did we get it? The horrific pricing for Hitman 3 might be more famous than any actual detail about the game.
hell, the entire trilogy has been cursed. 1's episodic release where it wasn't entirely clear which packages had what parts of the game, 2 having a premium edition with DLC access because WB published that one, and then 3 becoming World of Assassination, trying and failing to simplify the process of getting the whole trilogy

There's an obscure IRL game that uses to be played at the Iowa Writers' Workshop called "Smoke". One player would pick a non-fictional person and then other players would ask questions like "what sort of tree would this person be" or "what would you guess their favorite meal is". And somehow, some way the group would still be able to figure it out.
The ability of a group of people to figure out something like this from the barest clues is just really neat. Of course, Doug was sometimes giving out some pretty obvious clues :p
