I like this, it's really good. I also like how you added that picture. If I were to have one constructive criticism, I would have Glimmer in Alex's place, because their personalities are more similar. Don't get me wrong, I really like this. It's merely a constructive criticism!
Edit: their arcs are pretty similar too. Both grew up without a father (Glimmer more than Alex), both of them are really useful to their rebellion, both of them get in an argument with their parent figure, and both of them @#&$ up big time in the later part of their arcs, and then redeem themselves later on.
