I'm new to this channel, checked out a few videos and its seems your really shedding light on something very dark taking place in the west. I'm a revert to Islam in my 30s, so I remember what life was like and how non-Muslim girls were in the late 2000s, not sure how things were with the Muslims round this time but things were completely different in my world. As a general rule, everyone could find a partner if they really wanted. Women valued in men looks, confidence, dress sense, social skills, humour, toughness, influence amongst other traits. Money maybe a little bit, nothing like today, I very rarely came across a girl who cared about education/degrees, maybe its because I'm from a predominately working class city. It was kind of shameful for girls to be single generally from what I remember, but not for men, if you were a regular guy it wasn't too hard get a regular girl if you had confidence to walk up to them. Girls knew how attractive they were, they weren't deluded into thinking they hot if they were average, I guess real life interactions slap people into reality. Compare it with now on these Muslim marriage apps its like being in a total different world, these girls seem to take pride in being single no matter how old they are. Nothings more important to them than career and a uni degree, when rationally thinking not everyone will want to go to uni and a degree doesn't necessarily relate to income or intelligence. Height preferences? what percentage of the muslim ummah are above 6 foot? All these unnecessary requirements guarantee that many of these women will wait it out till too late. But what about the men who get left out with them? They can go abroad possibly if their patient, the immigration laws have made that abit harder now, but I think most won't be able to. We're going to be left with middle aged (40+) population of single people living alone who despise the opposite sex and have given up on the idea of marriage. Which brings me to the question, should we even be living here in the west if this is the outcome? Surely making hijrah to a traditional Muslim land is the only option?

I used to say I would never get married cause men are all the same and bla bla, this was during high school, when I started university and I started to learn more about feminism, learn more about what Islam says about it etx.. I started Watching Muslim videos and non Muslim videos on feminism and how this ruined girls. I watched many women in their 40 and 30, alone single, working and they are tired and want to just get married and have a family because they are lonely. After many studies, I realized that I don't want to be alone, I don't want to end up at my 40 without a husband and kids. Carrer is just something we can have at every age, same goes for money, but let's be real, for us women when it comes to marriage and kids we have no time, we won't be the same at 40 as we are in our 20s,especially if u want kids. So, I changed my mind, I just realized how stupid I was to believe in everything those social media say to us girls. Don't say u wanna stay alone, cause no matter what, at certain point u are gonna be left alone, nobody is gonna take care of u in old age, u are gonna do eids alone, cause even if u have friends, they all have a family probably, and not all friends are forever. The thought of people dying alone is so sad. I don't believe anyone wants to be alone (unless they have mental health issues). I do think some people have very unrealistic and unfair expectations, I've seen some former friends like that. Alhamdulilah I've seen some friends also become more realistic and find true happiness. @bramejm mahdi focuses more on non muslim psychology books than islam and then cherry picks ideas based on his own knowledge and awareness. He fails to take a holistic approach and that can be dangerous at times. You need to keep in mind for all these psychology studies and statistics he quotes there will be another studies that has the complete opposite findings. This is coming from someone who has studied psychology and so there come across some of the concepts he's mentioned in his videos this is why when studying psychology psychology instead of just reading books on it we always evaluate the studies we learn about. Im not saying he's completley wrong but psychology should be taken with a pinch of salt because for each subject there will be multiple theories. For example in his video where he reacts to Dr Zakir Naik he says the fathers role is more important than the mothers role in the upbringing of a child and its future relationships etc. and uses statistics to support this he also says a bad relation with fathers will mean a girl won't be good in a relationship and wont obey her husband. However psychologist Grossman found that the mother played a more important role in the development of a child and that the father has a different role as secondary caretakes. And then the most famous of all is bowlby who states that a mothers attachment is most important for a child and he came up with the concept of the internal working model ie happy childhood relationships =less likey to divorce and happy marrige which is what mahdi says BUT bowlby also says before that in order for the rest to follow for a happy childhood the child must have had a positive attachment with its primary caretakers which is the mother and that the first relationship formed with the mother in the critical period ie within the first two and a half years of a child's life acts as a blueprint for its future relationships. And it has to be with the mother but it doesnt have to be bio mom. So the mums attachment to the baby is most important for its development later on which is why women are given 12 months of maternity leave. If the child has a bad childhood later on it won't impact their internal working model according to bowlby. And even then if we analyse this theory we can see that it doesnt take free will into account only our innate hardwiring. It was hard to explain and compress everything in here but hopefully u get the gist. Do your own research in things and dont only listen to what you'll agree with and like but also what you dont like when listening to these types of psychology videos

I'm new to this channel, checked out a few videos and its seems your really shedding light on something very dark taking place in the west. I'm a revert to Islam in my 30s, so I remember what life was like and how non-Muslim girls were in the late 2000s, not sure how things were with the Muslims round this time but things were completely different in my world. As a general rule, everyone could find a partner if they really wanted. Women valued in men looks, confidence, dress sense, social skills, humour, toughness, influence amongst other traits. Money maybe a little bit, nothing like today, I very rarely came across a girl who cared about education/degrees, maybe its because I'm from a predominately working class city. It was kind of shameful for girls to be single generally from what I remember, but not for men, if you were a regular guy it wasn't too hard get a regular girl if you had confidence to walk up to them. Girls knew how attractive they were, they weren't deluded into thinking they hot if they were average, I guess real life interactions slap people into reality.
Compare it with now on these Muslim marriage apps its like being in a total different world, these girls seem to take pride in being single no matter how old they are. Nothings more important to them than career and a uni degree, when rationally thinking not everyone will want to go to uni and a degree doesn't necessarily relate to income or intelligence. Height preferences? what percentage of the muslim ummah are above 6 foot? All these unnecessary requirements guarantee that many of these women will wait it out till too late. But what about the men who get left out with them? They can go abroad possibly if their patient, the immigration laws have made that abit harder now, but I think most won't be able to. We're going to be left with middle aged (40+) population of single people living alone who despise the opposite sex and have given up on the idea of marriage. Which brings me to the question, should we even be living here in the west if this is the outcome? Surely making hijrah to a traditional Muslim land is the only option?

I watched many women in their 40 and 30, alone single, working and they are tired and want to just get married and have a family because they are lonely.
After many studies, I realized that I don't want to be alone, I don't want to end up at my 40 without a husband and kids. Carrer is just something we can have at every age, same goes for money, but let's be real, for us women when it comes to marriage and kids we have no time, we won't be the same at 40 as we are in our 20s,especially if u want kids.

@bramejm mahdi focuses more on non muslim psychology books than islam and then cherry picks ideas based on his own knowledge and awareness. He fails to take a holistic approach and that can be dangerous at times. You need to keep in mind for all these psychology studies and statistics he quotes there will be another studies that has the complete opposite findings. This is coming from someone who has studied psychology and so there come across some of the concepts he's mentioned in his videos this is why when studying psychology psychology instead of just reading books on it we always evaluate the studies we learn about. Im not saying he's completley wrong but psychology should be taken with a pinch of salt because for each subject there will be multiple theories. For example in his video where he reacts to Dr Zakir Naik he says the fathers role is more important than the mothers role in the upbringing of a child and its future relationships etc. and uses statistics to support this he also says a bad relation with fathers will mean a girl won't be good in a relationship and wont obey her husband. However psychologist Grossman found that the mother played a more important role in the development of a child and that the father has a different role as secondary caretakes. And then the most famous of all is bowlby who states that a mothers attachment is most important for a child and he came up with the concept of the internal working model ie happy childhood relationships =less likey to divorce and happy marrige which is what mahdi says BUT bowlby also says before that in order for the rest to follow for a happy childhood the child must have had a positive attachment with its primary caretakers which is the mother and that the first relationship formed with the mother in the critical period ie within the first two and a half years of a child's life acts as a blueprint for its future relationships. And it has to be with the mother but it doesnt have to be bio mom. So the mums attachment to the baby is most important for its development later on which is why women are given 12 months of maternity leave. If the child has a bad childhood later on it won't impact their internal working model according to bowlby. And even then if we analyse this theory we can see that it doesnt take free will into account only our innate hardwiring. It was hard to explain and compress everything in here but hopefully u get the gist. Do your own research in things and dont only listen to what you'll agree with and like but also what you dont like when listening to these types of psychology videos

I don’t think he even described her specifically as deficient in looks, he literally said she was average looking, surely people should at least be grateful that they’re average looking and not below average looking. We as humans shouldn't feel the need to compare ourselves to anyone in terms of our looks/ outer beauty, or even place ourselves on a scale that isn't universal. From what I've been taught and learnt, as Muslims we're supposed to be careful of our choice of language, actions and intentions. There are definitely major issues with our ummah, both men and women, but this brother's approach isn't helpful, it's almost like adding oil to the flames and he's throwing himself in there along with the people who follow him. If we actually fear Allah, we would take each and every step with consideration of the akhira.
