I was born and raised in Spain to teachers in Spain and it’s something I’ve always wanted to do, give back to my country! Wishing everyone good luck on this journey🇪🇸❤️
Thank you so much for this. I’m actually getting my degree in English and I want to teach at a college in Spain. I speak pretty good Spanish and I already have a minor in Spanish.
Thanks so much for this, Casey! Very informative and encouraging, you've done so well, too. Hope you have enjoyed Portugal x Were any of the Meddeas students older? I am thinking of making the move to Spain at the tender age of 56!
Hi! 🌻 Who can help me?❤️ I’m from the Netherlands, no bachelor’s degree since I quit my dental hygiene bachelor last year because I wanted to teach ASAP! I want to get the official CELTA (Trinity). I have also seen job availabilities that don’t specifically require a bachelor’s degree. Who has experience with this? Without a bachelor but with a TEFL and get a TEFL job in Spain?!❤️❤️🇪🇸
Hi Stephanie, glad to hear you're looking into the TEFL field! If you are wanting to learn more about teaching in Spain, feel free to check out our informational guide here where we go through requirements, job possibilities, and financial expectations: www.internationalteflacademy.com/teach-english-in-spain#
To get hired you will need a minimum of all four of the following: a bachelor's degree, a TEFL or TOFL certification, be a native speaker of English, and pass a background check.
@@mattbro24 Yep any bachelors degree works. Obviously having an education degree will make you more likely to get a job but as long as you have a bachelors degree there are tons of TEFL jobs you can apply for around the world :)
It completely depends. Some places will allow you to apply although it wont look great on your resume so you might need to work on your references and maybe volunteer somewhere to get teaching experience (It looks great on your resume). You also need to be on a fluent level of English, so your English should be on a native level.

Do non native English speakers have any opportunity to teach English
