There’s a free app u can download called “picture this” that helps u identity plants! All u have to do it take a picture of the plant & it will tell u in seconds what it is :)
15:10 the way to propagate that plant is by getting a plastic see-through bottle cut it in half and put some soil at the bottom with no fertilizer or drainage holes mist or water heavily untill wet but not siting in water and place cuttings into the bottle then cut a line down the bottle around 2 cm on the bottom or top then place the top part of the bottle onto the bottom and seel the lid and don't open until roots are growing in my last 7 months of doing this propagation i have had 100 % success plus putting them in water usually causes the cut wound to rot

Hi Harli, curious about the plant light. The link in the description doesn't seem to be working anymore. Trying to adjust my plants for winter days indoors :)
Please do a Caladium dormancy video because so many people do not know that they drop their leaves but the bulbs remain in the soil and the leaves emerge when they come out of dormancy...
I definitely will! I had no idea that there was a process for these plants so I know it could have helped me out the first year I had them! I definitely will. Thank you!
I squeaked when I saw you posted this, and my boyfriend says “another plant video?” Lol! The first Chinese evergreen is a Red Aglaonema. It has a nickname, but I cannot remember what it is. I have one, it is massive and grows the odd white flowers all the time. Love your plant collection, it’s the best!
First plant. So many people buy the Norfolk Island pines for Christmas in Southern Florida and plant them I their yards when 🤦♀️they are through with the season. They grow Massive and weak top heavy. Ugh.
I have 6 naughty dogs Austin a blue mini Aussie, Cee Lo a black and white mini Aussie, Riata a red tri mini Aussie, Paisley a rescue (dachshund x corgi x chihuahua), Lizzy a rescue Mcnab and Captain blue heeler given to me as a gift. They damaged a giant succulent yesterday while i wasn't home :( first time they have ever damaged one of my plants. They knocked it off a end table i think barking at an event happening on our road. I'm salvaging what i can... still sad! I enjoy your plant collection and i like listening to what windows you keep your plants next to. The entire south and west side of my home is windows. East and North windows very limited! I also have a large screen porch I haven't used much yet.
Wow! 6 huh! I love the name Bee Lo! How cute!? My dogs don't intentionally mess with ym plants, but same as with your succulent I have lost a few from them being knocked over. IT really is so sad!
Does more sunlight make your syngonium lighter pink? What variety is it? I have a pink syngonium, but it's kind of a weird darker pink and green mixed. Just wondering if I can get the leaves lighter or more pink. I couldn't find info on this elsewhere.
Please do a caladium video! I am a new Caladium owner and mine is all scraggly and starting to droop. So I'm not sure if I should keep with the same care, or start backing off to encourage dormancy. I'm so confused.
Oh and that plant on the floor is a Philodendron selloum/Philodendron Hope. It's the Split-Leaf Philodendron. It will get more pronounced splits in its leaves as it matures (like the M. Deliciosa). I have one and love it.
I definitely will! Do you have an Instagram? If so you could send me a photo of your caladium plant & maybe I could better tell if it's time for dormancy? If you want to send a photo over my Instagram is Harli_g_ (:
@@HarliG Sorry. I'm awful about checking RUclips notifications. I'm @BookSniffersAnonymous on IG. I will take a photo today and send it your way. Just be prepared... it's really sad looking.
I did not! I actually got it from the thrift store (: I have mine in bright indirect light for about 7 hours of the day & I water it with some diluted plant food whenever the leaves start to curl! That's basically it, but I will do a full care video if you'd prefer!
I have Sofie a miniature Yorkie. She runs my house. I have two sons and four grandsons so I bought a girl lol I just found your videos, love them. You are too cute..
I have 2 spoiled Akitas, girl is Niya and boy is Kuma! My grandma calls kuma "Pumba" 🤔🤔😂 Also my pink nerve plant is struggling also, I can't seem to figure her out...

Enjoyed your plant tour. Your dogs and cat are soo adorable. Love your videos. I have a dog name Chloe and she’s 15 and a cat name Kiwi and he’s 6. We love our animals and our plants.
TIMOTHY HILL no just regular water! The regular water was doing fine wth it though, I’ve had that plant about a year & only just recently did the leaves burn up!
Love your collection, where do you get your pots? I have a ton of plants and they are in rinky dinky plastic containers and while watching your video I noticed the unique pots really spruce things up.
I got it from Joshsfrogs.com! I believe it was $7.99, but I do have a 15% off code if you want to order one. IT is harlig15 & I don't make a commission or anything from it so don't worry :P
Thank you! What kind of weather does Brasil see? For some reason I imagine it incredibly hot year round! Is that true? I have seen an occasional Episcia here, but I personally do not have any in my collection!
Hello ...your plants are seems happy ...I have 56 varieties of philodendron plants .. but some lovely varieties are with you ...I am still searching here INDIA..
Thank you! I have always loved collecting rocks, stones, & crystals. The Earth is incredible what it can make out of seemingly nothing! Oh y goodness yay! Where did you find your variegated monstera cuttings?!
Harli G eBay. I get a bit nervous about buying cuttings/plants on eBay. But so far so good 😊 I also recently got a Hoya Hindu rope cutting from eBay too. Bring on spring!
Ever since I saw Harli's variegated monstera video, I've wanted one so badly! Impossible to get where I live, although I saw one for sale online for $450.
Natalie Powell that's a crazy price. That's why I decided to get rooted cuttings. A pink princess philodendron is on my wish list but those cost way too much too and they seem impossible to find in the uk 😭
I was almost beside myself today, as I went to a cafe/nursery, and on their shelf behind the cash register, they had several variegated monsteras which weren't yet for sale, as they are still becoming established in their pots. I wanted one so much, but they wouldn't sell them yet. They will go for between $300 to $500 depending on how many leaves they have and so on. Couldn't believe I found somewhere that will have them available!
The maroon arrowhead came from me!! I'm so glad you love it!
Thank you Dinah! I love it so much!

Do you have any advice for the pink kalanchoe?? I just got one that I ordered online and it still hasn't perked up yet
How long have you had it?
Harli G for about a month now
hmmmm have you watered it recently or at all??
I squeaked when I saw you posted this, and my boyfriend says “another plant video?” Lol! The first Chinese evergreen is a Red Aglaonema. It has a nickname, but I cannot remember what it is. I have one, it is massive and grows the odd white flowers all the time. Love your plant collection, it’s the best!
Haha Sarah you are always so nice! Thank you so much for that.
Your welcome 🙂
First plant. So many people buy the Norfolk Island pines for
Christmas in Southern Florida and plant them I their yards when 🤦♀️they are through with the season. They grow
Massive and weak top heavy. Ugh.
hahaha that's kind of funny :P Do they end up surviving?
Harli G
Yes with lots of growers that grow tall and quick. Bad for hurricanes
Since they are top heavy
Ugh!!!!
I have a white standard poodle named Daphne.
I have a dog named Bismarck!!! He’s an English pointer 🐶
Does more sunlight make your syngonium lighter pink? What variety is it? I have a pink syngonium, but it's kind of a weird darker pink and green mixed. Just wondering if I can get the leaves lighter or more pink. I couldn't find info on this elsewhere.
I also wouldn't mind an arrowhead plant care video :)
Did you ever do a caladium video? I heard you mention it in the video
Yes! I'm working on you, it has just been really time consuming because I have to wait for it to go into dormancy & back out :P
THANK YOU!
@@HarliG Sorry. I'm awful about checking RUclips notifications. I'm @BookSniffersAnonymous on IG. I will take a photo today and send it your way. Just be prepared... it's really sad looking.
Do you still have a eucalyptus? Mine died way back and it’s on the brink of death. Not sure how to care for it, any tips?
Yes! I will do a video soon (: That is one I forgot to include in the tour I guess dang it!
Harli G ok HURRY because it’s not well lol.
What does it look like?! if you have an Instagram send me a pic to @harli_g_ & I can help you more quickly from there!
Luv the planter your philodendron micans is in did you make it and can you give tips on care
I have two sons and four grandsons so I bought a girl lol
I just found your videos, love them. You are too cute..
Love, love, love your plant tours🥰💕
Thank you Gabrielle!
Caladium dormancy video please! :-) there's always so much new stuff to learn its good to be prrpared.
Yes definitely. I wholeheartedly agree!
i love plant tours, you have a great collection
I love houseplant tours also! I watch them 100% of my free time :P Thank you!
I have 2 spoiled Akitas, girl is Niya and boy is Kuma! My grandma calls kuma "Pumba" 🤔🤔😂
Also my pink nerve plant is struggling also, I can't seem to figure her out...
Oh how cute!! I love the names & that is such a gorgeous breed! Well if you ever figure out your nerve plant let me know because I'm struggling too haha
I’ve heard touching the leaves of the nerve plant stress it out and can hinder its growth! Maybe that’s why it’s struggling?
I wish I could have a coral fire aloe!
It is such a cool one! I hope you find one. I'll let you know if mine ever has babies!
What did you say the name was at 20:53 again??
Portulaca Maraca Cluster (:
Enjoyed your plant tour. Your dogs and cat are soo adorable. Love your videos. I have a dog name Chloe and she’s 15 and a cat name Kiwi and he’s 6. We love our animals and our plants.
Kathy Gilbreath oh plant & people people are the best of all!
+Harli G can you leave a link to your mom’s channel please? Nice plant collection btw.
Yes it is ruclips.net/user/stefhall (:
Are you giving your Rattlesnake Calathea distilled water? And also they like have a pebble water dish below for humidity.
TIMOTHY HILL no just regular water! The regular water was doing fine wth it though, I’ve had that plant about a year & only just recently did the leaves burn up!
Harli G it could be a build up of all the salts from a year's worth of tap water.
Love your collection, where do you get your pots? I have a ton of plants and they are in rinky dinky plastic containers and while watching your video I noticed the unique pots really spruce things up.
I mostly get them from secondhand shops because eI love how unique they are there!
Where did you get your silver satin pothos? I have been looking for a new variety of pothos and I can only find golden and neon variations
I got it from Joshsfrogs.com! I believe it was $7.99, but I do have a 15% off code if you want to order one. IT is harlig15 & I don't make a commission or anything from it so don't worry :P
@@HarliG thank you so much! Just bought two plants off there! Thank you for the discount code 😆
They. Are. Adorable.
Great video, I'd like to know where you bought your buddha head pot I love it!
Hi iam from Brasil and i Love your vídeos. My plants stay outside.Do have episcias?
Thank you! What kind of weather does Brasil see? For some reason I imagine it incredibly hot year round! Is that true? I have seen an occasional Episcia here, but I personally do not have any in my collection!
@@HarliG i dont speak inglês but I undesteant .yes is very hot in my city.
Do you have Facebook ?i cam send Picture tô my plant
Can someone please spell the name of the plant at 5:28 for me?
It is a Ctenanthe Lubbersiana (:
Great collection Harli👍👍
Thank you so much!
I think that mystery cutting you got from the plant swap is a vanilla orchid! Google it! So cool!
Thanks Mom
maybe reason why your rattlesnake burnt is bcos your fertilizer contain phosphorus. as far as i concern about calathea, they cant bear phosphorus
That could definitely be it! Thanks for the heads up!
Your dogs are so cute. I do have a silver lab her name is Misty. I also love all your plants.
Awww love the name misty! How cute!
What was the name of the plant you showed after the pups? The one you said was underrated?
A Ctenanthe Lubbersiana (:
Hello ...your plants are seems happy ...I have 56 varieties of philodendron plants .. but some lovely varieties are with you ...I am still searching here INDIA..
Philodendron varieties are my new favorites. I had no idea there were so many varieties.
Yes lot of verities are there
I have a black lab mix, named Roxy 💕
AW labs are the best. What a cute name!
I just wanted to ask what happened to your polka dot plant
Is your string of pearls still around??
Yes! I showed it in this video just before the Rattlesnake Calathea (:
I must have missed it! Love those lil guys but I can never keep mine alive 😂
Love your plants and your crystals. I’ve just potted up two variegated monstera cuttings 🤞🏼man I hope they survive
