Well that should be helpful. I was supposed to receive mine today but I think this winter storm may have delayed it.
Where can I order the optional clip?
It will be available in about a month on amazon.
@@shootersglobalThe clip’s not available on your website or Amazon. I just received the Go and already dislike the Velcro strap thing. I’m sure it’s great for some people, but I train with my concealed carry holster, my duty holster, and my competition belt. It’s pretty annoying moving it around constantly…especially with my IAWB setup.
I just want to be able to clip the timer to my pocket like everyone has been doing for 30 years.
@@shootersglobal why don't u available the clip now?
@@klrvagabond the clip is finally available on Amazon. I just ordered mine.
@@EuropaChronicles Indeed; I got mine in last week. Huge improvement; thanks for the heads-up!
Will this timer be able to adjust sensitivity when shooting next to other shooters in an indoor range to only account for the closest shooter’s shots?
Yes, this is a unique feature of our timer. You can adjust the sensitivity so that the timer only picks up your shots. For example, in a PRS .22LR match, the referee was able to set the timer to pick up shots from a suppressed rifle while not hearing shots from a .22LR rifle without a suppressor within 5 meters.
Alternatively, you can easily configure the timer to register 9mm shots while not detecting shots from a 223 rifle within 2 meters from you or one meter behind a barrier. The difference in volume levels can be significant depending on the surroundings, and it can be critical in some situations. However, it all depends on the ambient conditions.
The Velcro clip attachment is probably great for people who only train with one belt/gear setup, but it’s not great for people who train with concealed carry gear, a duty belt, and a competition rig.
I’d REALLY love to buy an actual belt clip, but apparently it’s not available yet.
The clip will be available in a few months, you will be able to also buy it separately
@@shootersglobalIt’s been 3 months. Any word on the clip? The Velcro non-sense is REALLY frustrating since I train with my competition belt, duty belt, and concealed carry gear on different days. There have been several instances when I forgot to transfer the Velcro loop from one kit to the other which meant that I had to improvise at the range. VERY VERY FRUSTRATING.
@@EuropaChroniclesput the Velcro strap in your range bag along with the shot timer. Boom problem solved.
How do you configure the RO mode? Bring the sound up, and adjust the sensitivity for indoor range etc.
You can set the RO settings in the app.
Preliminary actions: SG Timer Go connected

2. In the “Squad” block, click the “Edit Members” button (Match Mode screen)
3. Select a member (Edit Members pop up)
4. In the upper right corner, click the “Save” button (Edit Members pop up)
5. In the “Squad” block, select Member (Match Mode screen)
6. In the “Setup” block, change the “Delay” value, number of shots and others (Shooting screen)
To increase the sound and adjust the sensitivity for the indoor range, follow these steps:
1. Connect the timer to your Drills app.
2. Open "My Devices" and select the timer.

Will it pair with Garmin watches?
Coming in february
Dumb question, but will the ziploc baggie trick for rainy weather affect shot detection?
SG Timer Go is almost entirely protected against moisture penetration, with the exception of the USB-C port located at the bottom. Any covering of the sensor (located near the buttons) may affect the recognition quality.
Any experiments should be conducted at your own risk. As the manufacturer, we do not market the SG Timer Go as being rainproof.
Can you please explain how to use the spy mode? My main use case is to clip to my belt at my back in matches to validate RO time readouts. I suppose 1). the GO does have spy mode? 2). once a stage run is done, do I have to detach the GO from the belt to see the time, or is it easy to see the time by just turning my head back to look? Thanks.
Spy mode - in this mode the timer will start the session once it hears another timer’s beep, thus syncing with it. The timer itself will not beep in this mode.
You can only turn on the spy mod for GO through the application.
In Spy mode SG timer will start the session once it hears another timer’s beep (from the list), thus syncing with it.
It works with SG Timers, CED 7000, PACT, Pocket Pro, Special Pie M1A2-F, AMG Lab Commander, Range Tech.
Here is a video where we explain this mode in more detail - ruclips.net/video/__PA3FH-h60/видео.htmlsi=kwYoeMFA0RP9iKUH
How do I turn down the buzzer volume for dry fire. Even with tape over the buzzer port it is still way too loud and driving my dog crazy
You can do it in a Drills app, configure a preset over there.
Where can we buy the extra clip
Yea where can we get that metal clip?
It will be available in about a month on amazon.
Will this work with a smartwatch the way the larger sg timer will? Thanks!
Yes it will.
Hi guys, i’m training with a Glock with a laserammo cartridge and the dry fire mag that resets the trigger after each shot. The problem that i’m facing with some timers or apps is that that tool makes a first click when you pull the trigger and a second one when the trigger is resetting and the timers record the second click as a shoot. Did someone try if sg timer is more accurate??

Got my timer..is there a way to get the in between splits time without accessing it at the phone?
those are important times
example
shot 1 1sec
Shot 2 3 sec
shot 3 5 sec
the in between split times of shot 2 and 3 is 2 second.
the time can only show the first in-between splits of the first and second shot not the current shot display
Both timer and the app show split times. Please contact support@shooters.global if you have difficulties, I can't attach a photo here.
@@shootersglobal hello. forgot to give you updates. its working now..
looks like i need to update it first before using. without the update it doesn't show the splits. now im enjoying the timer with the update
Hello, I just bought one and it doesn’t turn on at all.
Any troubleshooting?
I tried to charge it also press the button.
Hi, please contact our support team support@shooters.global
for further assistance. Thank you
@shootersglobal how do I remove the "records" from the app? I made a test by tapping on the unit and that's the fastest split. I want to remove it.
Hi, in the Activity tab, select a day with shot practice, swap to left and the session will be deleted.
THANK YOU FOR THIS! but the video sync will not work consistently with the Go. ive seen the videos but it did not help
please contact support@shooters.global
Same, mine will not connect & I can't change anything. I'm stuck in a 4 sec delay.
Where is this video for the SG Timer 2????????????????????????????????????
Your website doesn't have the optional clip anywhere. Where to order that?
The optional belt clip will be available on our website and Amazon soon.
Any eta on the clip?
3:18 Where do I find 'Training' to adjust dryfire settings? SG Go
Hi,
To adjust the dry fire settings on your SG Go, please open the Drills app and navigate to the Shooting tab. From there, select the Training button (it’s the third option from the top). You’ll be able to make your adjustments from that screen.
If you have any further questions, feel free to ask!
How do you change the sensitivity for dry fire?
Connect the timer to the app. Tap the green timer icon in the upper left corner of the screen. A menu will appear where you can go to Dry fire presets, where you can determine the sensitivity for each type of weapon.
In Smart Dry Fire, we recommend keeping the sensitivity setting at 100 and the waiting time at 2.0.
You can reduce “Waiting time” to the minimum value if you need to catch the “first” sound (trigger or shot).

@@shootersglobal thanks for the reply! I did follow those instructions - but even at 100 in a quiet environment, it only registers my trigger press if the firearm is with one foot of the device.
Will this pair with Samsung galaxy phone?
Yes, sure.
I don't have any option to use the AR mode. It will allow me to watch the stage but not use the augmented reality mode.
It's only available on IOS. Technical limitation of Android..
Instructions on how to turn the timer off are a bit unclear, even with the video it took me a while to figure out you have to pretty much instantly press start after holding function and get the timing exactly right. Almost feels like a mini-game in itself, lol.
Apart from that, the only thing I feel could be improved after trying it out for an hour is the function button should stick out a bit more or have a small recess around it like the start button does. I don't really have large fingers but I find it a lot more difficult to press than the start button.
Overall really impressed with the product though. Lots of fancy features with the app, but super simple if using it standalone.
Thanks, we will change the turn off sequence.
@@shootersglobal Looks like it might have been a misunderstanding on my part. It appears the sequence is pretty reliable after all, but needs to be used when in one of the "main screens", and can't be used when in the results screen, or when timer is in pause mode.
If that is the case, and it isn't just me getting better at the timing, mentioning this clearly in the instructions would be great as I've somehow missed this.
Edit: Definitely user error on my part, tried it a few more times and going to the main screen first makes the sequence work every single time, timing isn't even that much of an issue.
@@shootersglobal Just got my timer and it won't turn off trying the button sequence. Learned I can't hold the function button too long or the start button will just start the timer. I have to hit the start button pretty fast right after hitting the function button
Yes, the instructions on paper included with the GO timer are not clear enough. I gave up after 20-some tries and thought maybe it may have been fixed in firmware. So I installed the latest firmware and saw that they added power off via a very long press of the function button. After reading a Reddit post on the issue I now can also power it off the original way. Now that I understand the original method I like using it because it powers off faster. I like the new way because it works every time. I still need to practice the original way a little more to get it to work every time. It seems best to press function power and hold it but press start immediately after pressing function and then release both immediately. I am glad to see they left the original method in after adding the new one.
What’s the new way?

How do i down the videos
Regarding videos of the shooting practices, all videos are stored in your gallery. It is located in your profile by the button on the top right corner of the screen.
To export the video from the app, tap and hold the video to select and tap “Share”. Wait before it gets processed and select where you want to export it.
I see submenus the include a lot for RO mode on your original timer starting at the time stamp that follows. Setting including sensitivity are there. How would I get to those same menus on my GO timer or the app. I see nothing in the app the applies to the RO Mode. ruclips.net/video/zuMsQRXQzcA/видео.html
RO mode is currently limited on the GO timer. It will be available through the Drills app later this year.
@@shootersglobal I received an email reply to my question with the following directions as to how I may modify the RO mode settings:
You can set RO mode in the app.
Preliminary actions: SG Timer Go connected

1. Select “Match Mode” (Main screen)
2. In the “Squad” block, click the “Edit Members” button (Match Mode screen)
3. Select a member (Edit Members pop up)

5. In the “Squad” block, select Member (Match Mode screen)
6. In the “Setup” block, change the “Sensitivity” value and others (Shooting screen)

My clip will not release without some serious force applied, like so much that I’m worried I’m gonna break it. Last time I couldn’t even get it to release I finally had to take the whole thing off my belt with the Velcro strap. Is this normal? Also, I can’t get spy mode to work, I’ve programmed the correct timer but nothing happens when I click start….any suggestions?
You probably used 2 velcro straps. There are 2 of them in a box, you need to separate them. Make sure there's 1 strap.
Nothing should happen when you press start in spy mode. After start it will wait for a signal of another timer, and will start session after that.
Why would you put a male voice on female hands? Very strange
