The title of your channel is dumb. The plural of 'quiz' is QUIZZES, not quizs
Q5. Which COUNTRY'S flag is this? Countries is a plural term while country’s depicts possession
Q35. Roger BANNISTER
34/40. Good quiz.
40/40 - This quiz was obviously designed to catch out foreigners, especially Americans; (Hands up all Americans who answered "Big Ben" and "London Bridge"!
A couple of nice questions that many people wouldn't get right (like Polish being the second most used language in the UK,) but also a couple of questions whose answer probably won't stand the test of time (like the population being 65 million, oh and Prince Charles is obviously wrong as of early September 2022!)
The population question is one where you need to take into account when the quiz was set to get the correct answer - Population might have officially been 65 million sometime in 2021, but it currently (December 2022) stands nearer to 68 million (67,791,400) - you need to take an approximate guess to get that one right!)
I truly enjoy these. Please make more. Thank you
Actually a pretty good quiz!
Good Quiz. But question 2. 4 countries England , Scotland, Wales AND Northen Ireland.
That’s the UK not GB, GB does not include Northern Ireland
@@UltimateQuizzes well you learn something new everyday 😅
The British Isles comprise of Great Britain and Ireland, Isle Of Man, the various Scottish islands, Orkneys and Shetland. UK is made up of England, Scotland, Wales and N.Ireland. GB is England, Wales and Scotland. The island of Ireland has the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The island is called: ?
38/40. I'm used to acing quizzes
25/40.I thought I’d do better.Thank you for the knowledge and enjoyable quiz!
Thanks for sharing!
Would have been 40/40 but for the Polish speakers question and I agree with Adam Kennedy Palfrey about the fact that there are more Welsh than Polish speakers now, post Brexit!
Well, I learn something new.
I had 16 wrong, now you try the same with questions about the Netherlands. Do the quiz in Dutch naturally, I did it in English.
The original flag of “Northern Ireland” does actually make up part of the Union Flag Saltire flag of St Patrick
46/50Thank YOU
I’m British and got 100%
English money was DECIMILISED in 1971. We no longer use Pound Sterling
26/40.
Didn't do nearly as well as I hoped. I got more right than wrong though.
I did atrocious on this 🙈 I only got 9 right! Although I’m not from the UK, it’s still embarrassing because I watch a *lot* of British quiz shows like Pointless, House of Games, The Chase, etc. Ah well, I learned some things! 😊
dnt be to harsh on yourself some where difficult and many brits would do worse then you, our new generation are fukin poptatoes
39 BUT GOT THE CHARLES WRONG COS I SAID KING CHARLES
The quiz was posted before Queen Elizabeth II died, so the picture was correct at the time.
34/40. Not as good as I would like.
Northern Ireland doesn't have an official flag other than the Union Flag. The title of Charles Darwin's book is On the Origin of Species not The Origin of "the" Species. In full it's "On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life." Good quiz otherwise.
Well I missed 3 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Who is Emma Watson?
BRO is literally living under a FUCKING ROCK.
Harry Potter actress
@@quietkidriomf6494 But hardly a question about Britain! (She was born to British parents, but was born in Paris and lived in France until she was five.) It all depends on how you define 'nationality' (for example, anyone born in the USA is legally American for tax purposes - but then the US government are just money-grabbing bastards!)
Harry Potters GF
some corrections : london is the capital of england
uk is made of 4 countries
and im not really sure what it has to do with the celebrity emma watson
but overall its great i really enjoyed this quiz
Sorry this is only partly correct, yes London is the capital of England and the UK
Said great Britain not UK
Nor harry over rated kane
34/40. Not as good as would like.
Got to question 3 and dumped it- if the best thet can do is put the questions in yellow on a green background so you can't read anything, the play another quiz- there are hundreds available.
For q5 it would have been less problematic if you had chosen the flag of one of the other countries. That image is the Ulster Banner which only had official status until 1972
I understand your point about the Ulster Banner only having official status tied in with the Stormont Parliament bit its not as though post 1972 that another of the home countries adopted it.
It's King Charles III
1st question has the qrong answer UK has no capital
q35 Bannister has two n's
Second uestion - Gt Britain is made up of 4 COUNTRIES - what about Northern Island? In question 5 Northern Island is recognised as a country.
Great Britain is JUST one of the British Isles, albeit the largest one. Northern Ireland is what it says, the northern part of the island of Ireland, but politically unified with Great Britain. Great Britain is more of a geographical term than political.
The Island is called Britain, the other island is called Ireland... Northern Ireland is on the island of Ireland..
Question 24 answer Kieth richards. Lol
Didn't do good at all 7 right
It's just a tad off-putting that your title page contains the word "quizs". The plural of quiz is quizes. Q5. Not which countries flag, but which country's flag. Q 10, according to latest census, there are 850,000 Polish speakers in UK, but 990,000 Welsh speakers. Q 16, the tower is indeed Elizabeth Tower, but the building of which it is part is the Palace of Westminster. I gave up at this stage. Please do better.
someone hates school. you are not smart.
I find it off putting that you can’t spell Quizzes ..🙄🇬🇧
I said Welsh. Adds to my score. I, too , noticed “which countries” instead of “which country’s”
Not British and British history here in America is not too throughly.
question 2 is wrong four countries make up the UK. England, Wales, Scotland and Northen Ireland.
Answered in the Number %5 Question
@@mikejones4240 sorry the but Q2 is what 3 countries make up GB and not the UK these are different. You are right that 4 countries make up the United Kingdom but Great Britain is only 3 as Northern Ireland is not part of it.
@@paulstephen2201 you are wrong. Great Britain is a whole. Are you British? The question should state the mainland. Northern Ireland is on British passports,
Yes I am. Great Britain is the official collective name of of England, Scotland and Wales and their associated islands. It does not include Northern Ireland and therefore should never be used interchangeably with 'UK'
Our passport is for Great Britain & Northern Ireland
The capital of the united Kingdom
Is not London...
The capital of England is London.
England Scotland Wales
Are 3 separate Countries within the United Kingdom..
Sorry that is not correct - London is the capital of the UK. Wales, Scotland and N Ireland all have devolved assemblies but are not the capital city.
Err..No you’re wrong ..!! 🇬🇧
@@UltimateQuizzes That's right! London is the capital of England, GB and the UK. The four countries that make the UK, obviously have their own capital cities in addition to this.
I did very bad, got only 5 right. But then again I am not Bri
so what?
easiest quiz ever, any 8 year old could have got them all right
There's always got to be a smartass I know it, therefore everyone should to. No one asked for your smug comment did we ? Even though most of these questions were pretty easy to be fair 😂.
It’s 4 countries for the 2nd question, not 3
3 countries make up GB, 4 make the United Kingdom as Northern Ireland is not part of GB.
Check your passport we are The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
LONDON is the Capital of ENGLAND not the UK that is made up of three countries
WRONG! Q24 HE IS KING CHARLES!
He is now, but not when the quiz was posted.
Was this meant to be serious?
I had 40/40, a true patriot. If any self proclaimed "Brit" had anything less than 35 I'd suggest finding another country to live in. 2 world wars, 1 world cup, Rule Britannia.
Do YOU say.. 😂😂🇬🇧
Uk quiz… & all it’s about is flipping England
Annoying music
This is terrible. What is the capital of the United Kingdom???
Question 1 the UK has many capitals, London is the capital of ENGLAND! I didn’t waste my time with question 2
Sorry but London is the capital city of the UK not just England
Wrong .. London is the Capital of the UK 😊🇬🇧
Q2 the answer is wrong. Where is Northern Island? Very poor quiz.
Sorry but Northern Ireland (not island) does not form part of GB. GB is England, Scotland & Wales. UK is GB plus Northern Ireland
Or are you asking where Northern Ireland is? Travelling northwards go up just past the scottish border and make a 90 degree left turn, keep driving straight ahead, careful you'll get wet after a while, but eventually you'll reach dry land again. That's Northern Ireland. Hope that helps!
i am fucking british culture, but q18 could be WInston Churchill
No… Winston Churchill took over from Chamberlain shortly after war was declared . a vote of no confidence was taken and chamberlain resigned after it..🇬🇧
It's obvious that an American has written this as the first two questions have the wrong answer.
Nope, think you’ll find both answers correct. If you got q2 wrong you don’t know the difference between UK and GB
@@UltimateQuizzes It's astonishing how many don't know.
It's King Charles not prince, get your facts right
this was published on 04/7/21 it is correct
Don't be rude
@DBCooper01: It is you who is wrong, sleepy head! Check the date of posting.....of the video, not the letters on your table!
@@philipmarsden7104 the answer is wrong making the quiz invalid, I am right once again.
