one sad thing about this awesome watch is that there is no heart rate monitor which is most important when it comes to exercise
Also no solar.... 😢
and GPS
Also, it would have been nice to have a programmable timing feature they you can set however many seconds you want within an interval for those of us who weight train.
For example, if you're doing 4 sets of 12 repetitions, you could program a brief alarm to sound between each set so you'll know when to continue on to the next set without even looking at your watch.
So, just as an example, if you're resting for 1 minute between each set, simply program the timer to make a brief double beeping sound every 01:15. The 15 seconds added is only to account for the time that you're actually lifting. Then, each rest period would be approximately 1 minute apart.
@@electron7659 I believe there is a programmable timing feature. but it need to connect to bluetooth to set it on the app.
but that doesn't make any sense at all what so ever. since if you have the phone with you, then why the need to have it on your watch haha
also most people who are into working out have a note taking app such as Notion to record/journal their workout routine/set.
most if not all have their set planned todo list in a repeatable/reminder in their note app. which is why it is hard to think someone would even go to the gym without their phone with them.
the only valid one is the heart rate monitoring feature.
I have it, and if all that programming can be done either from the watch or from the cell phone. And I don't need to take my cell phone to the gym or run once scheduled.
make it solar
add heart rate monitor
keep the size
Amen to that.
That would make it literally the best watch on the plant and add a couple of 100 quid to the price! In the mean time there's the Garmin instinct Solar, that has all the above and so much more, its simply amazing, built in GPS compass, alti, baro etc only thing is, it's noticeably bigger than this one and understandably so.
agreeee
All it needs is the heart rate sensor and I’m in
I ordered mine and I can’t wait for it come
how is it, should i buy it
Love this watch I wear it all the time
Hi, can it track speed, distance and other data even without mobile phone?
Cool new tech
I cant wait till the SQUARES get the new MIP displays. That will be amazing !
I have it on my wrist right now I just wish you could have a simple option to reverse the negative display to the classic.
Got this watch just a couple days ago. Pretty good except the snooze alarm can’t be disabled easily. Kind of annoying having to go switch the alarm off to disable it from going off every 5 minutes, and then having to turning it back on again if I need to continuously use it the next day.
Does it have the hourly bleep?
@@ultimatestorm3158 no, this module does not have it. I find this quite strange for a gshock.
This watch NEEDS some SOLAR power! Who wants to perpetually change batteries?
Me
I also want batteries, changing every 2 years. Not charching IT every 2 weeks
@@NoxmilesDeevery 2 days more like.
I have a question about the workout timer. How many times does the timer vibrate between exercises if set to silent mode?
Is that I need to bring along my phone while I am running to track my running? Or I can just put my phone at somewhere after running I connect to my phone to get data(map and etc.)
Please, tell me...what you recomend, smart GPS to be ON or OFF, if i dont use it with my phone? I wish to use this only as watch, and rarely to pair with phone to adjust the time. For any other activities i have my Samsung GW4 44mm, wich works fine for me.
I use these watches over a tennis sweat band, turned inside out, so the logo is not visible. yellow g-shock on a blue sweat band, blue g-shock on a yellow or orange sweatband, etc. ... Can the heart monitor be shut off on them? I bought it for the MIP display and the kilometers/miles walked or run, etc.
Is it compatable with strava or do you have to use the G shock ap?
Instant order !!!
GBD-200 Strap
Anyone know if you can remove the strap and replace it with a composite bracelet?
the stock plastic feels ultra cheap and isnt very comfortable. bummer because the watch itself is realy nice
This yellow-green model makes me think of the channel Garbage Time, as Wayde now wears one there.
I myself have a GBX-100 as my beater and do use the interval timer in various other creative ways.
This is overselling the functionality though, as it only tracks running and needs a phone for the path.
The watch it's interface is also very slow, taking about a second to process every button-press and being clunky to operate.
Why mine dont have a gps on my gshock move? Im running with my phone also and the gps dont show it ?
May I know the model of the asics running shoes in 3:48, ths!
Can it be used while swimming ?
If it had an HR monitor and recharging on it I'd buy one. Even spo2 would be a good add. The version with an hr monitor doesn't look as appealing to me and it's more expensive than other options out there. Add a hr monitor and some form or recharging and keep the price the same or increase a tad bit; then I'd buy one without hesitation.
Recharging is LAME. You want solar. A watch is supposed to exist without being plugged in.
You're talking about solar watch with heart rate sensor, I won't mind paying another 50 bucks for these
This video showed interval training, but as far as i know you can't really do it on the watch? Like 3x 10 min times with a 1 min rest in each ?
Hi! The speed and the distance is possible to have without bluetooth connection?
Probably not, because its not a GPS watch like Garmin etc. You need to bring your phone along with your run. If you want to track your route.
I own one of these but I regret it now considering the poor bluetooth networking. The watch unpairs itself frequently & it takes me minutes literally to pair them up again. 3-4 pairing & waiting it to get connected everyday.
After 1year how is your experience?
Did you need to change the battery?
How is it as stand alone watch?
Can you turn the bt off?
@@NeoWahNah yes you can. There is aeroplane mode in the watch.
@@MrRawUK Thanks for the reply! I've owned it for a while now!
Precision in race?
Update the software for music control please 🙏
buy smart watch :)
@@kaugurid1608 the gb5600b has music control and is not a smartwatch
How easily it gets dirty and can you clean it ?
So you have to run with your phone for the GPS to work?
Yes
👍👍👍
I wish casio has a tracking device for the watch
I can anyone send me to link to buy this..??
Can I sync the steps with Google Fit?
I know the steps are counted on the app and then shared on my iphone, so most likely yes.
Whats wrong with the gps map? 😅
just missing a heart rate monitor and sleep sensor, common get it done g shock without making us wait a year for each new feature
If you're looking for fitness tracker, complete with heart rate sensor, this is not the one. Better go for coros or Garmin. Plus, your pace is not accurate with GDB200. I compared with Garmin on my right hand, GDB on the other hand, I got pace 4 with Garmin and 2 with GDB200. Suddenly I'm Olympic level with GDB200.
garmin says tell me the price difference
It seems too small for m... but is it tho?
BABS💥✨💚
Does it have MiP display?
Yes
Be aware there’s no heart rate monitor with this. Just got one, and am a bit confused as G Shock apparently have a smart watch for only with a heart rate monitor for £20 more.
What kind of model that have heart rate monitor ?
@@rajalufti1741 The cheapest one with the HRM is 300£ GBD-H1000 G squad . This model GBX-100NS-1ER is way better then GBD200, but no HRM !
@@tigar0304 Do you really think gbx is much better?....I don't think...
Countdown timer pls
been searching for countdown time also..but in the setting of notf sound have countdown overthere.
why no heart rate?
Because it's cheap
interval timer not counting on activity record 😢😢😢
G Shock have ability to make for what you want, but when it's come from marketing, they will delay it...
I dont know !?!?! I mean F-91W has stop timer and its more than enough
Hard to beat the F91W
F-91W best , all rest marketing
А ты знаешь толк в часах, дядя.
does this watch have GPS tracker???
can track over the phone
No
12.22.21 ws c13 hood gls nk guerra
Too bad you have to keep your phone along for the gps functions.
Put a gps module included in the watch and make it solar, I am sold. But having to keep my phone near the watch all the time is not comfortable
You have gbd-h1000 for that
@@Bullet_1987 yes indeed, but that's a whole bigben on your wrist
Battery is the main problem here. Just changed few months back and now? LOW BATTERY!
I had this issue on another g-shock, but i think it's the cheaper battery from amaazon.
I'm using Energizer. Got fed up and just bought a smartwatch for activities @@MrRawUK
no gps you have to run with your phone
Battery problems here
No built in GPS. No heart rate. Better off with the GBDH1000
Should cost 70 Pounds! The display it looks like was made during the Second World War ...when even a pen can have a colour display nowadays!
You don't know Casio, don't you? 😅
👍👍👍👍👍
