that seems accurate. if you have a max of 6.5 a broad frequency low distortion 4v should be in the cards. i do wish pioneer would tell people what they were actually buying though. the PRS decks sound much better than the similar on paper avh decks. how hard would a little info on SQ be to publish between AVH, NEX and PRS?
Would you have any idea why my amp all of a sudden has barely any output? Was working fine one day then the next it barely moves my sub now.. I tested the sub and it is good.
Check the amount of voltage going into the amps rca's. Your headunits output should be fairly high, like a couple volts on max volume. If voltage is low, check your sub output level and crossovers, subsonic filters. If the amp still gets a weak signal, test the voltage on the back of the headunit. You might have a pinched, grounded or damaged rca cable causing a drop in voltage to the amp.
knowing and being pretty sure is not the same, now is there this cheap meter could be showing you something that is not true, once you have clip present... get true rms DVM for that
WHAT the fuck was that? I'm thinking "great, this is what I';m looking for- how to check if I'm getting a signal from my head unit to my amps via low-level RCA output from my HU. Obviously I'm not technically proficient at this type of thing or I wouldn't be be doing this in the first place, just trying to save myself some money if possible. So, what did you do? I can't even tell why this video is even ON RUclips for because instructional was the last thing that this was
Very informative..

Nice drew....my x8800bhs does 5.2
Very nice, biggest problem it´s exactly how much voltage can you get without any clipping, but that´s impressive right there anyway!
very nice. some amps don't like that much though. like stetsom
@twingo16V I"m pretty sure my radio can go full volume without clipping.

What test tone did you used?

Smh thats not how you check for clipping or distortion, youre just looking at pretty number maxed out
