Florence looks like a child; the man that played her husband reminded me of the movie called Enough with Jennifer Lopez's being married to an abusive lunatic as well. He really captured the abusive husband's part . This was a great skit and educational as well helping women to call for help covertly. to help woman. Fabulously story and ending; now I know two signs!

One thing that I wish had been different with "Enough" was her killing her husband. I hated him too much to want him dead. Death was TOO GOOD for him. She was a well trained martial artist by this point and she was doing a great job beating him up. If I was her I would have beaten him to the point of being a cripple but not fatally so that he could spend the remainder of his life in a wheelchair needing nurses to take care of him. Similar to what happened to the inmate who kept abusing Tim Robbins in Shawshank Redemption.

Domestic abusers are nothing more than cowards. In the case of a male domestic abuser he would not be so brave against challenging another man. I don't know how female domestic abusers would react in front of another woman though.

Also why it is important that DV services only use women for legal services - women very uncomfortable with men & there is a high level of DV among police & legal profession.

Answer this how can so much Evil effect so many victims? its sad I would be dead if my Teacher had not interfered. My physical strength total's that of the male actor in this video. Compared to him I am built like a German tank (I am half German actually). I could snap him like a twig as it stands AND I have had years of kickboxing training. I learned something new when watching this. Not only have I learned the hand signal where you tuck your thumb and then have your fingers cover the thumb, I also learned another code from this video, STAN which is a code to signal you are in danger. I learn a lot watching these videos. This guy is really good at playing the abusive and violent character because of how he lets out all his anger and even tries to fight the police and resist arrest just to go back and beat the wife.

Its so sad that so many people go through domestic abuse and they can’t fight back because they are frighten. This guy is a bully and he needs some one to sort him out l do hope she get help soon hes mental and needs help. I put myself in her place and l know that no man could put a hand on me unless he is my dad. But not many woman can fight back glad her adviser call for help and she understands what she was saying. Although I enjoy watching dramatizeme shows it always portrays man is the evil one! I have found almost as many men that are on the receiving end of abuse. I was married 3 times to very abusive woman the worst one kidnapped my children for 5 years I finally got my children, another one is in prison for murder as her son is also from another marriage. And another is just down outright crazy and vicious she's living in an abandoned car behind her daughter's house picking up any homeless man that can supply her with her needs at the time. In the last 22yrs I refuse to get involved in a relationship with a woman outside the paid one nighters. My life is so much better now !

These stories, and the actors, so vividly show domestic violence it is scary. But you perform a great service if it opens the eyes of victims of domestic (female and male).
Not condoning violence, of course, but the abusers should realize that they have to sleep sometime. I realize it is very hard for women to get away, partly because sometimes they are convinced that they deserve the abuse. But ladies, please, you do not deserve to be hurt. It would be better to live under a bridge or in the woods for a short time until you can get some real help.
