I was in the dome and can't agree more about the play calling, same with the people around me. Even when they ran the ball, it was up the middle or whatever with our O line that is not great. I don't think we pitched the ball out once to Kamara to get him in space. It's like what the fuck are we doing? The O line can't create holes, but we run AK straight through the line every time, and it's 2 yards here or there and next thing you know it's 3rd down and we have to pass. What happened to the creativity and play action and shit we saw the first two games? Get Taysom involved more too. I just don't get it.
James! Id love to see your reaction to the video “Darren Rizzi's Game Ball to Kamara in Saints Locker Room after 1st Win as Head Coach” it’s on the saints channel, you get a really good vibe from Darren!!
Eeeh, he would have had to catch that for me to give him the game ball TBH. That TD pass dropped between 3 defenders was more impressive and impactful then anything AK did today IMHO..... besides breaking the long running record that had very little to do with this game specifically ofc. He deserves congrats for that.
He’s calling the o as if everyone is healthy… when you’re 2-7, it’s time to give 2-10th string opportunities.. see what they can do and look for how you can start next year 7-2! Not saying I don’t enjoy seeing w’s now… but if we’re gonna be short of a competitive postseason, then let’s find the shortest path to postseason w’s and see who we have on the roster that can step up, and who we can establish as easily replaceable w/ low upside
Now that AD is gone, we should be praying for Rizz to succeed, it'll save headaches trying to find a HC after the season. Our top pick wont succeed with a mediocre coach and who the hell will take this job after the season? Better to have Rizz succeed and let him build the team and who knws we might have a similar story like the Lions
If Drizzi is super smart, and he doesn't even have to get wins, just keep it close, we should try him out for a full year next season. The lads seem to love him!
The offense going to crap every time the team has a 2 to 7 point lead is all on Klint Kubiak. I know people wanted to blame DA, but it's clear after today that it is Kubiak and his play calling.
Carr threw the ball away on 3rd and 7 like dude MVS bailed you out here lol good thing he can catch also thought austin jr looked decent, a mobile qb would be a dream
Games are so close...I would've kicked that early FG... If Koo makes those 2 misses and Alvin catches that walk in score should've been 30-23 Saints. Keep stacking!
They're missing Adebo, Kool-Aid is hurt, and they traded an often-injured Lattimore. They were playing out of position and still bent but didn't break.

The fact that he came back so soon is what's criminal. Olave almost died? He got a concussion and knocked out. It's football, not dominoes. That was a routine pass over the middle that the defender went headhunting. But yeah, let's go with your logic and draft a quarterback. Then another one. Then another one. Maybe we'll hit the 1st try, but very few teams do. Instead, they spend 5, 10, sometimes 15 years chasing that next generational guy. Or maybe we build the areas that actually need the most help.
Great show Fix the front defensive line next yr . We need edge rushers badly. Fix the QB ASAP , Carr is not seeing the field , with terrible inaccurate passes. These are fundamental throws that a 2nd yr NCAA QB can make . Overall glad we got the win against the Falcons.
Saints starting to run the clock out with 8 minutes to go in the third quarter today against the Falcons. The same thing he has done since week 3.. That's Kubiak and his play calling. I don't know how people are going to blame that on DA when DA isn't in the building...Saints gave up 468 yards against the Falcons. Saints had 8 penalties for 76 yards. A LOT of the same problems. But no one really cares when you win. You can whine but DC4 and MVS is what worked today and why the Saints won. I have no idea why anyone is talking up a RB that got 3.2 yards per carry as being the force in the game...
This offensive scheme shown that they won’t run away from running the ball. Get to know ball brother we avg 7.0 yards per play with practice squad WR, know ball
Fun facts, the only franchises with a lower amount of rushing yards for their all time leading rusher are the Texans, Patriots, and Bucs. Kamara's rushing yardage wouldn't be top 2 on 2/3 of NFL franchises. It would be 5th for the Titans/Oilers.
I kinda have a hard time following your logic. Either Carr sucks or the play calling and our receivers are really bad. Carr played really well in the first half, when they used deep balls.
It's crazy that people are talking like AK dropping the ball is uncharacteristic. Do these people actually watch football? Do they know what drop% is? Do they know how bad Kamaras is over his career with dropped passes and on drop%? Or is just kiss AKs butt 24/7 no matter what? That is AKs 6th dropped pass of the year. 6 dropped passes is tied for third most in the NFL at the moment. There's nothing uncharacteristic about Kamara dropping the ball, it's actually pretty normal.
If the saints manage to win out the rest of the games is a rebuild still necessary i personally don't think so maybe let a few of the older non productive players walk add younger Tallent

@, I’m not and never will be sold on D. Carr. When he was pressured he missed Tysom in the 3rd quarter to extend the drive. However, he was only successful today because of the offense line showed up. However Will Harris played like TRASH today! Cut him now
@@erwincarson4581 every quarterback misses throws when pressured. Every quarterback. Right now, he's the best quarterback we got, and the best one available. Cutting him is crazy talk. Yet, you don't wanna cut AK? He dropped an easy tuddy. He had less yards per carry than Carr today. Cutting Kamara is crazy talk too, but anyone can cherry pick a play or a stat to try to justify it.🤷🏿♂️
@, Definitely understand your argument on this one. However, as a fan I NEVER wanted DA and DC at our organization. We can go back and forth with Carr’s stats. It clearly shows when pressured (Heavy/Slightly) his ability to adjust and correct decisions is not there. Carr needing the perfect OL every time is crazy. Also, his work ethic is subpar. Revisited his interview when asked about Rizz compared to DA. Carr should have been working overtime on his progression and IQ. AK had me heated and yelling at the TV for that dropped ball. DC placed it perfectly while he was in stride. However, you and I both know AK is a STUD among all the RB’s in the league. I’m definitely holding him accountable for that dropped ball. I even placed him on “possible cut list” with Will Harris for multiple missed tackles. As I stated before I’m evaluating and re-evaluating the rest of the season.
Box score doesn’t account for the dome dogs
@@mitchellduhe HUGE true
Took care of Rizzness today! Let’s GEAUX streaking the other direction. Who Dat?!
Please do not bring Joe Woods back.. no pressure on the Quarterback and continue to play that bad zone defense
Right now it looks like both coordinators are trash
Now that AD is gone, we should be praying for Rizz to succeed, it'll save headaches trying to find a HC after the season. Our top pick wont succeed with a mediocre coach and who the hell will take this job after the season? Better to have Rizz succeed and let him build the team and who knws we might have a similar story like the Lions
If Drizzi is super smart, and he doesn't even have to get wins, just keep it close, we should try him out for a full year next season. The lads seem to love him!
You don’t win without Carr. Who’s he throwing to? Great team win!
Also, I have noticed how much our offense sucks on the second half. We should play wild right now, test out plays F it.
Klint presnap motion fooled us😂😂😂 he's really not a good play caller
Somebody plz help Taylor I don’t know what he was doin
10-7 here we come, I’m ready to be hurt again
Games are so close...I would've kicked that early FG... If Koo makes those 2 misses and Alvin catches that walk in score should've been 30-23 Saints. Keep stacking!
Our Secondary is horrific
They're missing Adebo, Kool-Aid is hurt, and they traded an often-injured Lattimore. They were playing out of position and still bent but didn't break.
DA called The falcons before the game started to apologize
Saints end the streak and beat the Falcons? Sounds like a two for one, lets geauxxxx!!!
If I hear any Carr glazing I’m gonna lose it
Carr could have had 4 touchdowns on the day. He performed much better than Kirk Cousins, despite being under WAY more pressure, AND he had pretty much all new receivers. Losing it yet?😂🤣🤷🏿♂️⚜️
@@dl9232 you’re the reason we’re getting this mediocre QB play. NOLA deserves better than Carr. Carr hates the Saints and this city
@@dl9232 Carr’s gonna win just enough games to where we won’t get to the playoffs and also not get a good draft pick. Be ready for a similar season next year and the year after that. No rings for AK. Olave almost died last week. Nothing but tragedy for this team since Carr joined.
@@dl9232 and it’s games like this that really piss me off cause it gets clowns like you excited that we actually have a chance for a run. You’re not a fan. You just like the short term dopamine hit of a piss poor excuse of a win. Get outa here fool
@@mr.stockman2801 you're the reason players won't want to play here. Always complaining and always about the wrong thing. I bet you didn't say a word when Rattler got him concussed.
Great show
Fix the front defensive line next yr . We need edge rushers badly.
Fix the QB ASAP , Carr is not seeing the field , with terrible inaccurate passes. These are fundamental throws that a 2nd yr NCAA QB can make .
Overall glad we got the win against the Falcons.
This talk of eating naked hot dogs makes me want to head to the fridge and squeeze ketchup right into my mouth 😄
Spicy Ketchup or gtfo
We almost blew it. Uncharacteristic of kamara on that drop
Yeah, but then the defense stepped up. Something they never would’ve done with DA.
Yeah that was crazy tbh
WE WON WITH OUR CB 2s & 3s, we definitely gotta add more in the draft but man good win, atlanta sorry
I’m glad I’m not alone on the OC has to be better or he has to go as well
@@jarelljenkins3392 No doubt
WE 🔙
It's crazy that people are talking like AK dropping the ball is uncharacteristic.

Now try it with a new GM!

If the saints manage to win out the rest of the games is a rebuild still necessary i personally don't think so maybe let a few of the older non productive players walk add younger Tallent
James- I feel ya, great to wash the DA stink off, AND AGAINST THE FUKLINS
FEELS GOOD
Put this one in the mind; Kirk Cousins is just good Derek Carr. Do with that what you will.
Or let me ask you this, is Derek Carr just bad Kirk Cousins?
Kirk Cousins is Derek Carr if Derek Carr had Justin Jefferson, DeSean Jackson, and Pierre Garcon for multiple years.🤷🏿♂️
Derek Carr Is better than Kirk Cousins
I thought he was about to pass out from his excitement. Looked like he was walking funny and struggling to stay up as well. I’m not buying the “arm stinger” excuse completely.
U tell me🤣🤣🤣🤣
DOME DOGS AND ULTRA MICHELOB!!!!! feels good to get this win. Great day when we can beat the wack falcons esp with no Dennis Allen

James you great please try to be close to sober😂
How is Derek Carr now all of a sudden looking great with these jabroni WRs and he can't hit Olave in the Sahara desert? I was unable to watch the game on the West Coast. Did the Saints play that great or was the Atlanta D giving up plays?
I don’t like it. Happy for da Win tho
Need cornerbacks nd lineman badd

Definitely agree with your assessment. However, We HAVE TO cut Carr!!! His decision making is horrible! Remember Saints are evaluating and re-evaluating all players... As of now #5 DB Will Harris Trade Immediately!!
🤦🏿♂️ Fix the trenches on both sides of the ball, 1st and foremost.
Carr was really good this game. 126.9 rating. The run game was awful 3.6 per rush. What are you talking about?
@, I’m not and never will be sold on D. Carr. When he was pressured he missed Tysom in the 3rd quarter to extend the drive. However, he was only successful today because of the offense line showed up. However Will Harris played like TRASH today! Cut him now
@@erwincarson4581 every quarterback misses throws when pressured. Every quarterback. Carr is pressured more than any quarterback in the league right now, and he's still putting up mostly top 10 numbers. The fact that you said you'll never be sold on him, clearly shows your biased.
No Bias, Carr plays like Matt Ryan, just my opinion
