Things move so fast. Anyone can get easily overwhelmed on their first try. Sonic is a game many played as a child and even now, so it's good to see you get into it Ina. The falls and crashes are all part of the fun. No one runs before they walk. Except maybe sonic... hmmm.. it was very fun to watch you play Ina.
A quick tip for a first time player: Boosting is a lot safer than you might expect. If you push and hold R2 you will keep boosting. While boosting you will destroy enemies just by touching them, no need to jump on them or use a homing attack. Lots of levels are designed so that rails, boost pads (the things that look like treadmills with arrows on them) or walls/guardrails will prevent you from flinging yourself off the edge too. The game expects you to be boosting a lot, so don't be too shy about trying it. Also, even though chat voted for Shadow, in my opinion Sonic Generations is a bit easier and also gives you a lot more context for what is going on in Shadow Generations. It's ok to keep going with Shadow first, but I would be remiss not to at least mention this.
What's funnier is that in the original _Sonic Generations,_ the whole story twist regarding the Time Eater was that Dr. Eggman managed to control this uncontrollable entity by teaming up with his past self. And that's especially when starting from _Sonic Adventure,_ he usually gets sidelined by new, uncontrollable villains like Chaos, Shadow, and Dark Gaia, making for a surprisingly effective story beat in a game with an otherwise lackluster story. But then E-123 Omega decides to immediately spoil that story twist by telling Shadow that the Time Eater is Dr. Eggman's newest superweapon, and the 2024 remastered version of _Sonic Generations_ doesn't even try to hide the story twist regarding Classic Dr. Eggman!
Considering the genre, this game is like a boss rush mode for Ina with all the platforming. For the longest time I thought this game was also like the other 2.5d Sonic titles so now that I know it's more like Adventures I'm actually really interested in it Thank you for the stream Ina and thank you SEGA!

Despite it being short the levels are very fun and makes you want more! I recently completed every achievement for both Sonic Generations and Shadow Generations in this collection!

Gosh I feel so much like a boomer every time I either see a game or hear about a game that has those kind of download issues because back in my day you could just stick the disc into the box machine and play the whole thing right away nowadays you play the game for a bit right away and it stops you dead in your tracks to remind you that you're only 90 something percent done downloading instead of 100 and I'm like either don't let me play it at all until you're done downloading or let me play the whole game while you finish downloading is that too much to ask? , although I still want to get my hands on this game
