    The video you shared is not nasi lemak but nasi kandar, where you have a lot of dishes for your rice. The other difference is that nasi lemak has coconut milk in its rice while nasi kandar doesn't have any, so that may be the reason why this nasi lemak tasted better than the nasi kandar you had.

      yea that makes sense. I was wondering if that was the case. although they do call it Nasi Lemak on their menu. I wonder if it's just "their version"
