Hi. I've got an undated 20p coin which was found the same year it came out and has been stored since. It's registered with the Royal Mint How much are they worth and how can I sell one? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Not sure you can register a coin with the Royal Mint so I'm unsure what you mean by that. To sell, it's either eBay or facebook groups really. And as for price, somewhere around £40-50

About the Royal Mint, when it first happened they asked people who had one to contact them and it was about wanting to buy them back off people who'd found one. So we contacted them to say we had one and they sent out a little container and that's what I meant by registered. It was more about them offering money to buy it off you then, or at any time in the future as I recall. In any event, thanks for the info. Could I ask one more question - do coin sellers ever buy them off you? Hope you don't mind me asking.

I put all my change into an empty gallon water bottle & when full spend the best part of a day scrutinizing every coin for errors and low mintage.. In 2015 the queens head was upgraded so there's coins with the young and not-so-young Queen. Also some of the 2p bits are magnetic, but I don't know why. Like others I've found bits without year & without "20" on them.The remainder go into my bank!😁
Hi LAFTA A question about 20ps you found one in this video there was one dated 2015 and the date was near the top of the queen's head but I've found one that has the date near the point of her neck is this rare or?????
I literally went through all my 20p’s (£295.80) from a savings container) a few days ago found and nothing except 3 date runs excluding (1986 NIFC, dateless 2008, 2017 and 2018 NIFC’s obviously) 🙄 ah well it past the time a little 🕣🕛 Great stuff LAFTA 👍🏻

Bummer on the diversities ( not really new coins are great to hold onto if you can afford it ) and nice find. I noticed you switched hands is it just easier with the smaller coins ? I’m not ambidextrous so it’s always left to right. Thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏻👊🏻
