I have had the same situation. The farmer let his friends & family hunt on his land and that's a good thing. The problem was that there was no organization. The people thought they could go anywhere they wanted and not cooperate with others. The farmer didn't care about anything, you have a problem get out. So i did. Everyone involved should have got together and worked out a plan of where and when to hunt. Lease the property or buy some property if you can.

The deer themselves are no anyone's property and can move about as they wish, but any type of restrictions as to what deer you should take or pass on should ONLY have input from the property owner. If he wants you to shoot 1 buck and quit, does only, or says "kill whatever you want" (assuming you're within state hunting regulations), then it's no business of anyone else who hunts there.

I wish she would call the game warden and when they see the video you show them, they'll be the ones getting in trouble. Stop talking to them. Talk ONLY to the landowner. Stop giving them any kind of power to negotiate anything with you. Tell them to go talk to the landower and YOU don't approach him with the drama! You be the good guy! Whenever you see him, say, "Hey, great day out here!" Be cheery, be a reason to put a smile on his face. Let them become the headaches. LOL If I was the landowner, I'd kick them out. They're making problems oh, and I don't know about your state, but in New York State, all deer & wildlife are the property of the people of New York UNTIL one is taken by a hunter, then it becomes their property. That means, nobody who feeds deer can lay claim to them and I'm sure the game warden would just love to hear why it is that they think they do.

I don't know who's in the wrong, obviously. Just what it seems like. I did watch the other video, and it's all pretty sad. No reason to act like that unless someone is definitely trespassing and not even then. Call the Warden and get an official trespass warning if they are. Or notify the land owner. Most people here in the south know better than to walk or ride up on an armed person in the middle of the forest acting crazy. They also know better than to tresspass nowadays. Written permission or you're trespassing here. This is all pretty sad either way and part of the reason that in most states now if you don't own, lease, or pay a ridiculous amount for a yearly hunting club membership (usually owned by a timber company that likes to log in deer season) you probably have nowhere to hunt other than public land. I have heard of Karens here, but they usually just honk their horn for hours at the road or call the game warden and end up getting themselves removed from what I've heard. Fortunately, in my 28 years of hunting, I've yet to meet one. If y'all both have permission and don't OWN it the only solution is just dealing with it and being thankful you have a good spot to enjoy the outdoors.

@luv2hunt113 she may be the "Karen" (that he specifically asked for no one to attack, yet he fed you the ammunition to do so) but the children she is talking about are her nieces and nephews. She's not defending her husband and their spots, for the most part. Yes, her husband does bow hunt, but it wasn't his stand he was infringing on. She's defending her family's spot. You can't see it in his original video, but her family has a platform stand less than 100 yards (that he states is 600+ yards away) from where he is in the tree. He conveniently edited it out and used angles to where you can't see it. It is NOT a box stand. We do have a box stand, yes. But not where he is saying. It's a concreted in, wooden platform. This kid was told when he got permission (3 years ago, not 4) not to hunt this specific timber, by the land owner. The land owner told us personally he was not to hunt that part of the land. 470 acres total, yes. But this specific spot is not 470. There are several plots. And to the credit of his original video, there are others that commented saying if you are hunting 470 acres, no one should be on top of each other. My husband starts going out in September. Puts cameras out, etc. We stop that weeks before rifle because it is illegal to hunt over food plots. He's fighting with the wrong person for views and it's working for his RUclips channel. And everyone commenting screaming CPS and game warden are just fueling a fire that shouldn't be there. We are only fired up because he was asked to stay out of this specific area and has refused to do so. Let's not talk about the multiple times he and his father have driven past my house in the early morning hours and thrown their loud ass truck into neutral and revved the engine just to get a rise out of us. This is a two way street. If the Garretts would be respectful, then so would we. He claims he would love to help us, but has done nothing but instigate the issue, especially by taking it to RUclips. This kid has never once tried to have a mature conversation with any one of the people he is bashing on social media. It's unfortunate that it has to be this way.
