I have Samsung 750 EVO 120GB since 2016. It works well even if filled upto the brim. Thats true that I have to migrate downloads etc. to HDD very frequently. The only solution to ease the pain a bit is to change the path of downloads folder to HDD, so by default it downloads in HDD. BTW HDD is installed in optical drive bay so it is always available.

Hey IG, I have a Question for you.. Is it really necessary to get a D-RAM cache SSD? I bought Crucial BX500 few days ago and i saw this video right after it got delivered to my house.. Can you tell me is getting a DRAM SSD really really important? Have i just wasted my money? ( My PC Build is mainly focused on average gaming and work)

last HDD i purchased was 3 years ago. using it only. since that i have brought 1 1TB nvme SSD, and 1TB SATA SSD for games and work. adding another 1 TB SSD SATA considering the size of games. i have Modern Warfare and Cold War.. these 2 collectively have 430 GB something in total 😁

Dram vs Dram less SSD ?
Don’t fall for the tricky question. Many, if not most high performance SSDs don’t need DRAM to deliver. DRAM might help some controllers to smooth out write performance and wear leveling, but a SLC NAND cache is more common and equally effective. Even without any cache, all decent brand SSDs will beat the sh** out of any HDD in every performance aspect. The only exception would be unknown brands with incredibly cheap drives that who knows what have inside.

Purchased Kingston 1tb M.2 SSD during sale, earlier was using kingston sata SSD 120GB for OS ..
.. One thing to note is always be aware of SATA ports .. i had 6 ports but due to m.2, two sata ports are disabled now, so i have only one free sata slot available now to upgrade .. (1tb nvme ssd, 1tb HDD, 120GB Sata SSD)

I have a nvme boot drive, however i want to change my storage hdd to ssd as my hdd is failing. So would it be a good idea to buy a dram less bx500 1tb only for storage drive?
You're right. I have installed 4 tb ke 4 ssd on my pc.
In early 20's i had only 10GB HDD for all purpose even windows xp is also in same HDD.....and now i have 7.5TB SSD storage :)....it was a quite long way!!!

Bro mera laptop HP pavilion hai , ryzen 5 hai , 1 tb hdd lagi hui aayi thi , 4 gb ka nVidia ka graphic card bhi hai pr ye bhot slow hai ! So I was thinking hdd ke sath hi ssd lagwaun taki data hdd main store ho and jo functions hain vo SSD se perform hon taki speed achi mile . Gaming ho jaye like PUBG , GTA 5 because ssd ke alava mere laptop main features ache hain I guess.
