I think what makes them so special among all the other girl groups is that they’re all so distinctly different with each other personality wise yet you see them combine beautifully while genuinely loving each other’s company and genuinely enjoying their passion for performing. Plus they’re not afraid to go against the typical super pretty, super thin, only cute or only sexual girl groups. They’re so much more than just that and they’re just being true to themselves.

claire recio: I have to disagree a bit there because some things you said are just factually incorrect. 2ne1 went along with many things they didn't want (as later interviews with Bom and especially CL reveal), but YG would've ended their career if they hadn't. The beginning years of almost all Kpop musicians are strictly regulated and only get a bit more loose later. 2ne1 was no exception to this. They didn't put up much of a fight. Especially when it came to beauty standards, the only one that really had the balls to refuse to be pushed into a shape she didn't wanna fit into was Minzy. That was the main reason why she was the least popular of the girls. She refused to be "prettified" in a way she didn't agree with and that is why she was seen by so many people as not beautiful, which kept her ratings low. I do agree with the general point though. It's honestly awesome to see how these ladies stay faithful to each other even now while they're all on their own individual paths. They've nothing but love and support for each other and it's heartwarming to witness.
Dara is such a dork, CL & Bom are cute, Minzy seems the most normal. Lmao I love them

Thank you for this. One of the many reasons why I love them is because the're not afraid to show who they really are, they're not afraid to look ugly or whatever, their love for each other is so genuine. That's why I feel really sad that they disbanded until now. Its like they were born to perform together.. Oh well, even the best fall down sometimes.. I really miss them. I hope that they will be reunited soon.

What I love about them is they don't pretend, they act like themselves. Its ok for them to look silly infront of a lot of people. They're not always prim and proper and for me its a good thing cause people see who they really are.

What the hell I actually cried while watching this.. I discovered kpop in late 2016 and 2ne1 was the first band I fell in love.. it's so sad that they disbanded almost immediately after I became a fan.. it's so nice to watch these videos because I can "get to know" the group even though they have been disbanded. ❤

Adrian Macatangay that looks impossible, they all have solo career now except Bom at the moment.i mean it is not like they all going to drop what they are doing and go as if everything was the same. To much has happened since break up. But I also hope they do, but in reality, they all moved on to bigger stuff. CL USA , but I have no idea what she cooking up at the moment because she almost never post anything, sandra is in the Philippine doing a movie, minzy made 2 single they are okay, but some people don’t like, she has open up a dance studio to teach and lastly Bom she is still hiding from netz and still in depressed mode, she has not been healthy lately at all, I hope Bom can find a cure for her depression, she needs to move on from her past, because it is hurting her, I believe her grandmother and friend would love her to live her life.
