Agreed, they claim it to be for sure. Ours was basically 7/8 of the way aft down the hallway. Nothing great about the location at all. We walked a long way to and from the room, nothing special about the balcony itself. As far as I could tell, it was as nice or as plain as a regular balcony room? Have you noticed a difference?
Great summary of Concierge Class, and this echos our experience on the Eclipse. We booked Concierge Class as it was only slightly more expensive than a standard veranda, so we decided to roll the dice. The amenities added very little to the experience and the concierge was useless. The one time I needed to ask for their help, I finally gave up and went on to Guest Relations as the concierge was unable to assist at all. Concierge Class is a nice idea, but Celebrity really needs to offer some more tangible benefits to justify offering it.
Sorry you had a similar experience. I would agree with your sentiments that it just isn't worth it. I'm not sure who "needs" that, but I can't justify it
@ Agreed, though we’re glad we took a chance. We have a cruise booked in Aqua Class on the Silhouette and we’re confident that it will be a good fit since we always use the Thermal Suite / Persian Garden and based on the menu, we expect that we’ll truly enjoy dining at Blu.
That sounds amazing we would to try that some time. We may need to look into trying that on our next one. Hope you have a great trip! Let us know what you think.
I gotta ask you about the ceiling fan...is that hanging from the fire sprinkler? I've never seen anyone do that before lol. Oh and one other "perk" of concierge class is the supposed to be more desirable stateroom location (closer to elevators etc).
No, definitely not from a sprinkler. We use magnetic hooks all over our room. We love them and use them for just about anything we can think of lol including the ceiling fan. Interesting, our placement was literally 3 rooms from the aft, so that was not our experience, but I guess it might be on other ships?
I think concierge is generally a better balcony location as well

Answer is no.
Thanks for the feedback. I 100% agree, but some may want it. Hopefully, this video helps people torn decide.
