Roll your lemon back and forth under the pal of your hand for a minute. It breaks up the inside and you get more juice. I also read that if you zest your lemon opposite of what you do but over the mixture you will get your zest and some of the natural oils that come with zesting.

Lemons have so many uses. If your dish is seasoned with spices and what not but you still think it’s missing something add citrus including lemon or a shake or two of vinegar
You should make lemon pasta. Cook you spaghetti or linguini as directed, in a small bowl put two egg yolks and 1 c of grated ( not powdered) parmigiana, two tbsp lemon juice and mix them together. Save a c of pasta water before you drain it. In a skillet add about 2 tablespoons of olive oil, the pasta and the egg mixture. Slowly add in some of the hot pasta water and stirring well until it’s creamy. (You don’t have to use the entire cup of water, just depends on the creaminess .) garnish with fresh parsley and serve as a side dish with chicken.
