Hi Kheng Meng, Just stumbled your channel and love your video. Curious question and I hope you if you can answer them. If you are allowed to bring non-pilot for your local training flights. Are you allowed to disembark on the cross-countries flight. (noted on tioman island flight, but as there is no immigration facilities there) Usually for your local training flights, how much does it cost you per hour.
If you are allowed to bring non-pilot for your local training flights.: Need to ask the instructor. Are you allowed to disembark on the cross-countries flight: Possible once u clear immigration. Tioman actually has immigration facilities. One can clear customs there. Usually for your local training flights, how much does it cost you per hour: Look up Seletar Flying Club website or call them. I'm no longer flying and don't have the details.
@@yeokm1 Thank you so much for the information. I was referred to a company called aeroviation* to register my interest. seeing your experience made me interested to sign up for it. suck to know that you are no longer flying (i don't know why but I hope it isn't a waste) but if its just the time, hopefully you can get back to flying again and upload videos on your flight.
@@tong3059 Time and money. Flying has got significantly more expensive in recent years. Hobbies have limits. As to flight training companies, let's just say one should look carefully before signing up for any programs.
@@tong3059 fellow Singaporean here. My advice is to go to the USA to do FAA PPL if you're seriously keen. Flight training costs are cheaper; There are lots more N-registered aircraft around the world for you to lease; FAA license doesn't expire so you only need to do a Flight Review with a CFI every 2 years instead of your license lapsing and having to redo your license.
