Yet another clean install Richard very neat! I never considered using a digi hat on the top, I would have probably cut the brass strips but your method is so neat and so much less destructive! Love these decoder installs! All the best Tony.

Hi Tony, I think the less work bit comes from me just being lazy TBH 🤣, i will need to get some more DiGi Hats i think for future installs 👍 take care, Rich

Hi, thanks for another great conversion video - I'm enjoying watching them and feel like it's something more achievable myself, thanks to how you explain and show things :) On the subject of converting steam locos one of my old DC ones is a Dapol 14xx tank loco - it's tiny - if you've got one of those and could tackle conversion to DCC on that then that'd be awesome!

Thanks for watching the video 👍 those 14XX's are very small, i dont have one myself (yet 😁), i suspect fitting a tiny decoder inside would be possible, to date the smallest thing ive converted is probably the dapol pannier, i also put a stay alive in it too, anything really is possible with the rite ammount of research and correct peices 👍 Cheers Rich

@@ThisWayWorksTWW Hi Rich, I enjoyed watching the pannier one, and was amazed you were on the verge of being tempted to fit sound! I'll keep watching your videos - I may well learn enough from them to have a go at the 14xx one day :) Thanks

@@endoorrailway obviously space is an issue all the time anyway but i find the hardest part with the Dapols is not damaging the details on them as you know everything is so delicate! Who knows maybe i will come accross a 14XX soon 👍
