This is a really nice bag and I have this style. Chanel has come out with so many newer, perhaps more funky styles, but this still remains a great bag to buy. ❤️

@@Handbagholic Actually, the opposite is true, per my Dallas SA from France. The caviar will dry out over time, causing it to dry and lose its shape. Also, caviar does get scratched and scuffed too, as wearers tend to think they don't need to mind it. Lambskin can be buffed out, and retains a brilliant sheen. My original bag was this same one in shw back in 2014. Since then I have sold it and buy only lambskin, now. That has been my experience; if I had children underfoot or kept pets, I would most likely stick with the caviar, though.

I just remember looking at the caviar classic flap bag, and it did not impress me, maybe I’ll get it in lambskin. I have a couple lambskin handbags, and I love them. They look so luxurious. However, the quilting style in lambskin, from what I heard, does not age very well. It seems that overtime the squares’ shapes become distorted, but the distortion doesn’t happen simultaneously. Have you experienced this issue?

Hiya! Of course, however they are old styles now. The pink dress is from Needle and Thread and the coat/jacket was from Zara. Both aren't sold anymore but I'm sure you'll be able to find similar styles on their websites. 😀

Yes. It’s a smidge too big to look elegant enough in the evening. I would go for the medium first since you can use it for both occasions day and night. Then save for the jumbo. Because let’s face it. One up buy one. You’re going to get addicted and obsessed and buy another 😝

Def get the med! The jumbo is too large for evening. Perfect for a work bag if you dont carry that much imo. Med is the perfect balance of classy and casual!
