Way way too much "dramatic" background music and effects.
Sometimes they gotta love special music... The Thunderchild from war of the worlds. Or the drums when Galactica goes into battle.
I wish for a different sound track... but, enjoyed the telling... many thanks
Excellent video! I've seen many documentaries on this battle, but I really liked how you broke it down step by step and shot by shot.
Hello Sir, thank you for your comment, please stay tuned for the "Hunt of Bismarck" video, soon to launch. Thank you very much.👍
Hello Sir, please check the continuation of this tragic event. Thank you Very much. ruclips.net/video/GKmyFUqeVj8/видео.html
This video actually leaves much to be desired. It presents one theory on Hood's sinking as fact- when that's not the case at all. There are currently three viable theories on how Hood was sunk, and none of them can be confirmed- or are likely to ever be- because far too much of Hood is missing.
All the Bismarck had to do was return back to Norway the same way they came. They could've got under Luftwaffe cover and that would've been it. I'm convinced Lutjens had a death wish and that's what he got
Those hits from Prince of Wales helped finish off Bismark. The fuel is polluted and Bismarck decides to head to Brest for repairs. In effect is mission Kill
2:36 vine boom with reverb 💀💀🤣
This was a great video and it's an awesome idea I hope you do some more.
Hey man, you have a really great telling and the 3d effects are pretty good but i think you should remove the green effect except when it's radar any way very good video, educative and passionating one
Excellent video, but why would a Spitfire over Norway be sporting desert camouflage? (Also TAF Camo usually meant a Voke's Filter on the Merlin)
"I will NOT have my ship shot out from under my a$$!!" Then the big guns let loose.
Prince of Wales was not in good shape and Hood was an old Battlecruiser that stood no chance against Bismarck
Thank you for sharing and Very informative .
Hello! Thank you for watching.
It's really cool. I think it would be easier to understand if there were English subtitles.
Just subbed, I can see good things coming from here.
I might suggest doing a recorded voice over instead of the robot voice to add that human touch that brings people in but that's my unprofessional opinion.
Your narration appears to suggest that ships were built in ONE DAY.
I think you mispelled the thumbnail a little😊
Good job.
This is one of the greatest naval duels in history,HMS Hood was bad luck and only 3 seaman survive this what happen after Bismarck salvo.
Bad luck? Or great marksmanship of Bismarck?
@@GuntherSDoumson2178Hood started firing at Prinz Eugen instead of Bismarck, letting her vulnerable to the latter
It's currently unknown exactly how Hood was sunk because far too much of the ship was destroyed in the deflagration. A salvo from Bismarck is merely the most popular scenario. There are currently four possible scenarios, and we'll likely never know how she was destroyed. Just sayin.
Some of the renders are a bit rough, especially the superstructure on Suffolk. Overall I see great potential here. You may want to look at some of the less well known battles such as Cape Mattapan, sinking of Repulse and Duke of York with force Z, etc. As I said, I see great potential here and if you reach out to Drachinifel or Dr Alexander Clarke they may be willing to give you advice or suggestions.
Thank you for your comment, that would be great to hear your suggestion, Let me take a look for that, and do a research and Gather information in the near future, for that event during the world war 2 as what you mention, but as of now, "Hunt The Bismarck" or "Sink The Bismarck" is on progress. the continuation prior of "The Battle Of Denmark Strait" and the sank of HMS Hood. Stay Tuned for more videos. Thank you very much for your proposition.
Duke of York was sunk with Force Z? That must have come as a great relief to the crew of Scharnhorst at North Cape.
@doveton sturdee lol, Im sure. I knew it was Prince of Wales and damn if I didnt wrote Duke of York anyway.
@@Colonel_Overkill No problem. I expect if Prince of Wales & Duke of York had been swapped in Force Z & at North Cape, the end results would have been much the same.
@doveton sturdee Specific ship wouldn't have metteredz but I have asked myself repeatedly if proper ammo for the pom poms could have saved Wales and Repulse that day. Functional tracer ammo would cause significant emotional events for the attacking pilots, possibly enough for at minimum Repulse to escape given her prowess in dodging attacks. On a lucky streak both may have escaped, but for the incompetence or the RN logistical shortcomings.
Hello! Everyone, Please Check for the continuation of this tragic event. Thank you Very much. ruclips.net/video/GKmyFUqeVj8/видео.html
I remember POW cannot fire all of its guns because of malfunctions.
There is no "The" in front of the HMS. It stands for His/Her Majesty's Ship. By adding "The" you are saying "The His Majestys Ship"
THEY SHOULD HAVE GONE ON ANSLD SUNK OR CAPTURE PRINCE OF WALES.THEN THEY SHOULD HAVE TURNED BACK TO GERMANY REPAIRED THEN TRY TO GO OUT AGSIN!!
If they had sunk Princeof Wales, I wouldn't be here. My father was one of the ship's doctors. He knew why the ship retreated, but wasn't allowed to talk about it. I figured it had something to do with the large number of civilian workers aboard, and by whom they were employed, but didn't know for sure (Dad never told me) until Ian Fleming declassified the cause many years later. The mechanism for all but one of the big guns failed - probably due to the hits from Bismark and Prinz Eugen. Dad served on Prince of Wales until just a few days before the Japanese sank her.
Wow😮
👍
Powera oi
I think this is being done with an AI generated script and narrator.
Yamato class battleships and carrier were the biggest and most powerful battleships at this time.
No. Yamato was still under construction at this time.
@@mikearmstrong8483 no, it was launched in 1940, but not under commission yet
@@Junkiebev
Ships are still under construction after launch. They need to be fitted out, which in the case of a battleship would mean the turrets weren't even installed.
@@mikearmstrong8483 "Yamato was launched on 8 August 1940, with Captain (later Vice-Admiral) Miyazato Shutoku in command. A great effort was made in Japan to ensure the ships were built in extreme secrecy to prevent American intelligence officials from learning of their existence and specifications."
@@guntherultraboltnovacrunch5248
Yes. I am aware of that. And it was still under construction. Ships are not complete when they are launched. The Yamato was not the most powerful battleship at the time the Bismark was sunk, as the OC claimed, because it was nowhere near completed. Battleships are launched without much of the superstructure, without armament, without engines. So it wasn't the most powerful battleship when it was launched; it wasn't a battleship at all until a year and a half later.
The moment I determine I'm listening to a synthetic narrator... I stop watching.
I did stick with it ~ and wish I hadn't. The narration was very poor and the script had too many mistakes. It's a shame, spoilt what could have been a good video.
