You are welcome it was a fun and frantic task to try to make as much as I could for show and tell the first day. Thank you for watching and commenting as always!
Lanea my house is a crazy mess right now, but thank you!! I went in there and just started throwing all the wall paper up really fast so I could show it all to you and stuffing paltech in everywhere it would fit - somebody is going to have to come over and redecorate!
wow, long arm quilting is so much work! I mined for a week before this update, and I'm out of copper and Iron lol Got the whole set done though! If you have the level 4 friendship with Auni done, you should see the shimmer flies, they are so pretty!
One of my subscribers is a little color blind and she asked me to mention colors sometimes when I describe things. I am not always remembering to do that yet but I am trying! Thank you for the comment
13:30 Not sure, unless a dev forgot one of the "D"s in the word (which would make it wadding, what you were talking about), but Wading (one D) means to wade through something (wayde, it sounds like). So unsure what was meant by the name for that wallpaper lol. Maybe a dev had a blond moment. There doesn't seem to be an "open" command on the Paltech Ice box yet. Also, you can stack the bowls and plates that you made separately (the singles) if you wish (but of course the piles also work for that). The dessert bowls etc. nest into or on one another, so there's more options for placement.
See, there you go, I was reading too quickly and in my mind I saw two "D's" as in wadding. Wading like a wading pool for kids, would make more sense with their theme on naming the papers I guess. Thank you for pointing that out. And thanks for letting me know that I am not the only person who can't open the ice box!
Didn't think I would, but rather like some of the Paltech Steam punk furniture and decor items. Definitely need a room dedicated to the steam punk room (or your entire house if you wish, but Oh the materials - lots required). And I got overconfident with availability of Palium nodes, and used a lot of my palium to continue with the Emberborn stuff, which I'd put on hold for months...and...still not easy to get any but slightly better than before...At least I've seen some palium and mined it successfully and courteously since the update. (We hung around trying to help someone find where we were for about 15 rl minutes, I do wish they'd made a "flag nodes" option on the map for non party members, or something which flashes and indicates, because a lot of folk on my server don't speak English or I don't speak their language/in text).
Luckily for me, there is no Palium in most of the paltech items. Very heavy on copper and iron which I had piled up. When they started having "star" level gems you could display in your home I got mining every node around as I walked Kilima so I built up a ton of copper. And trying to get the iron nodes in Bahari to spawn as Palium after that change, I built up a lot of iron. But I never keep "flint" and I needed about 300 of those.
@@melodyrosegames4U I kept all the ores this time before the update. Didn't even have to go get more! Can't wait for "herbalism" and then find out I sold off all the weeds lol. I was hoping they'd change how the Palium was obtained, and was hoarding it, so my Emberborn range had stalled. Now I'm down and out of it. Sigh. Plodding on.
@@melodyrosegames4U Actually, there's Palium bars used in a lot of Paltech gear; the ceiling fan (my fave too!! requires 2 x palium bars), gyroscope, desk fan, anything which is more interactive, also the icebox. The pipes and grates don't seem to need Palium, and the kettle either. Having server stability issues, so got kicked again while trying to count how many palium I used to make one of each of the cool moving Paltech stuff...but it's almost half of them. If you can turn it on or off it requires Palium.
Good info Melody. Question do we all get the chance to find new things in Bahari Bay or first to find and no more, I am new at the game and wondering. Never got lucky searching in Kilima, so I thought maybe the same in Bahari
When the Kilima chappa piles were first introduced 4 months ago, my hubby and I both got a quest the same day. I got the one where you get a pen stand for a desk from Caleri and he got the quest to find who owns the record and got the old fashioned Victrola prize for his house. So, yes, I think every person that goes up to the chappa pile and interacts with it has the same RNG chance to get one piece of corn, 5 rocks, or quest or a pattern each day. It is just that they set it up so that maybe 1% of the time you get the pattern and 90% of the time you get 5 stones!! hee hee
You know yesterday I bought a pavilion and by accident I bought also a Harvest House I didn't know I thought you had to open another house plot to buy a harvest house but I did anyway but now I don't know what to do with it can you give me some tips please
Maybe put it on another plot, via your H drop down menu, get your materials and build them both on that plot (you should have at least one more spare plot to begin with). Then you can take them up into your inventory (also in H mode) and then place them on your main house plot or just work on another entire house in the second plot. Try different things in it. I think you're allowed 30 buildings on your main plot, which includes hallways, porches, and different sized rooms, the gazebo etc.
When we were given the right to have more than one harvest house on our plot, I was excited to see how it would be to divide things up. My house by that time had 15 total rooms and was a maze. So I put a 2nd harvest house on my plot and started picking up and moving rooms over to it to make a separate workshop for all my machines, I love that. So now on that original plot I have 4 harvest houses and each one has a reasonable amount of rooms, no more mazes! I made one into a restaurant antique store theme, that was fun at the holidays!
Before I bought my Pavilion and the Harvest House I tried to build more rooms at least two cuz I wanted to make a tea house and a big kitchen but they wouldn't let me build my 2 more rooms and now I have 18/30 so I guess I could make at least two more but they wouldn't let me build but like I said that was before I bought the Pavilion yesterday and the Harvest House
@@shelinhagoncalves9578 Yes, a "new" house placement requires the *Harvest house template* as the core of it. So what I do, is place the harvest house down on the second (empty) plot, then you can (as you get them)build the other rooms, bay windows, etc. onto it. Or do all this on your main block if you like. Once complete, you can pick up the additions and add to your main house. But you do need a harvest house to build the other bits.
Yes the quill is a quest item from a quest that a Kilima chappa pile gives you RNG. And the sewing basket was a pattern from a Kilima Chappa Pile also RNG. Keep trying!
Thank you Melody for showing us all the new pretty stuff 💌🌹

The Paltech is great. I cannot wait to do all of these new items. Thank you Melody for this wonderful video.
You are so welcome! I can't wait to see how people combine the new stuff with things we already had.
Melody your house is awesome. and thanks for all the hard work so we can see what the new things look like. 🌹
