Also the broken Samurott in the back, the Pure Power Population Bomb Persian with King's Rock (rly wanted to see if it works), tried Disguise with Dusknoir (there was possibility for Download, Dauntless Shield or Defiant), having court change with cresselia if Rich brought hazards and having his own hazards if Rich didn't.. That was wild, I've never seen Frank going bananas with the team like that it was entertaining af.

I like how Frank was glad that Mudsdale had STAB with Magnitude, but Magnitude isn't even usuable in SV, but he didn't even need to use that lol. Also, K is not that good for a challenge like this. Only 5 moves total, but 3 of them are unusable, so only Knock Off and Kowtow Cleave (which are good moves). Although good for Dark types, not much for anything else.

On the one hand, you're limited to only three moves (Zing Zap, Zap Cannon, and Zen Headbutt) and a useless ability (either Zen Mode or Zero to Hero). On the other hand, you literally have a better than 50% chance of getting a legendary. There are only 8 fully evolved Pokémon starting with Z in ScarVi: Zacian, Zamazenta, Zangoose, Zapdos, Zarude, Zebstrika, Zekrom, and Zoroark. And the two types of Zapdos counter the two types of Zoroark (not that that's even bad). I guess _technically_ the odds are 6 in 12 because unlike if Blitzle was on screen, you wouldn't get any extra information if a Zorua was on screen. The odds would be even better in SwSh, because Zebstrika, Zangoose, and Hisuian Zoroark aren't in that game but Zygarde and Zeraora are. So Z would be nearly guaranteed.
Oh wow that's nasty. I was thinking that giving both the current and future letters should make it easier to figure out, but that Bonsly could've easily been a land mine because it gives the same information as Bagon.
I always love these videos, but they've been done multiple times already. What about changing it up a little, maybe the ability comes from the letter before and the moves come from the letter after? So if you had an M pokemon, it's ability would come from L and all the moves would come from N. That way it's not the same Close Combat, Contrary shenanigans that we've already seen before.
Or you could give evolution pokemon an edge over legendaries, you could choose your ability/moves from any letter of a pokemon within the same evolutionary line.
My mind completely blanked on Dewgong's name it's entirely possible for me to not know who D was even with a shared screen. Worse part is I've actually used it on multiple teams before
Disguise. Really Frank? D has a _ton_ of good abilities. Dauntless Shield, Dazzling, Defiant, Download, Dragon's Maw, Desolate Land, Dark Aura (maybe a little risky to be running on something weak to Dark but you could get Dark Pulse yourself to take advantage of it)... Also, gotta love the "Close Combat is the only C move that could take advantage of Contrary" _while you literally have a Clanging Scales on screen._
I think Frank forgot Stantler evolved into Wyrdeer because you cant evolve Stantler in Scarlet and Violet. (at least i dont think you can evolve it in SV?)
I saw the letters on the thumbnail, then saw M was not Muk and was disappointed for the missed pun opportunity since the letters are Muk spelled backwards. 🤣
