      @@pmedford65 Oh, so were the Def Leppard musicians very young also when that band started out?
      I don't understand why you'd think "they surpassed Def Leppard in success", however.
      The Warning's popularity is growing by the day...but most people I know have never heard of them yet...and not too many haven't heard of Def Leppard or some of their best songs.
      I don't have any idea how the two bands stack up against each other in record sales and concert tickets...but I'd surely think Def Leppard dwarfs them there as well.
      I am not, nor ever was a Def Leppard fan...but I'm somewhat familiar them.

    If you are in your later 50's like I am, then you know that there has been more than a few known all girl rock bands. When I was a teenager....The Runaways were the number 1 all girl rock band. But these girls here....write better songs. And plus, they're sisters by blood. The parents hit the gene-pool jackpot!!

      The somewhat amusing thing is... their parents aren't in the least bit "musical". A dentist and a civil engineer. Who enjoy music as much as anyone, but no more than anyone, too. Just "casual consumers" of music. Yet, somehow, out of this random mixing of genes and personalities and (probably most importantly, support...) we get - THIS. Three young sisters that have turned the idea of "rock is dead" on it's head. Boggles the mind, don't it??

The better the numbers, the more exposure they get, the more exposure they get the more success they will have. Staggering on a number of levels. 1) no record label behind them yet they got this video done, and its as good as any I've seen in quality, and its hitting at corporate mentality and the control they exert over the masses 2) writing this standard of song at such a young age (I believe Paulina was the main inspiration to this one at 13?) 3) they sounded so tight at such a young age. Love the guitar solo, but I'm a sucker for that having grown up in the 1970s so its understandable. The Warning have revived my hope that good old hard rock has a future in young hands. They combine hard rock with anthemic rock flavouring and at times a smattering of punk. GREAT.

    • @jacksblack9081

      Thank you. I grew up in the 70's also. I believe they are the new female Beatles. They are that tight and I love everything they create. Music Gold. Simply amazing. In a interview they said they were approached by the, well, you know, and they listened to what they had to say but they wanted to change them and TW said no, they wanted to stay true to who they are. I think it was Ted Talks is where I heard that. Each are talented and at the top of their craft. Bass, Drums, Guitar. Dani can play lead guitar with the best of them. She already has her own style. Ale is my favorite bass player and Pau is phenomenal on the drums. All of their singing is top notch. OK, there is only good for me to say about TW. I love them. They are my new favorite band/group. What do you think about that?

    • @tonyroberts5068
      @tonyroberts5068 Год назад +7

      @@jacksblack9081 I think its their honest assertive approach to music that marks them down as something to notice. They're not the corporate clones that infest the music scene these days, passionless mannequins dancing to song writing farms for a shot at fame who sell their souls and integrity. No, these 3 ladies have their heads screwed on the right way, and they write really good songs, from the heart. They have an advantage in that they live together so can practice and rehearse together anytime, and to be honest lockdown during Covid did them a massive favour. They emerged from that like a beautiful butterfly from the chrysalis of promise that existed before it.

    • @jacksblack9081

      @@tonyroberts5068 Again, I have to agree with you. The Beatles were very close. Locked down together for years in recording studios. I would never compare anybody to the Beatles. But the similarities of being tight as a group and talent with their instruments and vocals and music writing skills. I personally in my own opinion believe that at this time of me writing this, TW is the best rock group. Best I tell you.

      @@TheWarning yes lol I have both albums and can't wait for the third. It just boggles the mind how this masterpiece gets no recognition with all the crap that's nominated for awards. And I respect all types of music but year after year there is stuff that barley classified as music get all kinds of attention and great music gets ignored cuz the record label dose not say Sony. It's sad and the amazing music of the Warning and other independent labels will never be given the respect they have shown they deserve. I know my opinion means nothing but when I think of first albums by groups now in the Rock Hall of Fame, Rush, the Beatles, Elvis just to name a few. The Warning with this album showed more talent and better listenability than any of the other first albums of Hall of Fame groups. And I'm not trying to take away from the other groups im a huge Rush fan but I'd put on this album before Rush (the first album from Rush) every time.

      @HackerExecute All agreed, and beyond all of this, they have at least a dozen masterpieces on those two albums: Survive, Black Holes, Dust to Dust, Copper Bullets, Red Hands Never Fade, Crimson Queen, The End (Stars Always Seem to Fade), and more and more and more.

      @@crotonrivernet I wonder what would happen if we could make an internet poll supporting The Warning for the next Grammy awards. I bet we'd scare the shit out of all them mainstream people, just as we did with their Enter Sandman cover here on RUclips. 😂 As for their songs, I love a saying I found a few weeks ago from a review by Peter B that goes: "My favorite TW song is whatever TW song I'm listening when listening to TW songs". 😍🤘🔥 I got their two albums plus Narcisista and I just can't stop listening!!

I have seen you live a few times (even your first in the the US at the House of Blues in Anaheim) and you always deliver a great performance.
